Nah, I thought the reveal was very cliche. Still a good episode tho.

The ending could indicate it will be a while before we see Omni-Man again. I’m thinking last episode of season 2.

Does anybody know why this was made into a tv show and not a movie? The total running time was less than 90 minutes. Most episodes lasted less than 7 minutes, which was just annoying as hell.

Adventure Time is pretty good, and definitely different. Short 7 min eps. I'd start with S1E2. If it interests you, but you want to jump to eps with some story arc, you can then jump to S2. It was quite a popular show.

I see the second season of that War of the Worlds show just started. I'll probably wait for the rest of the season to go on demand before I start watching. Unless they put the whole season up.

Or maybe I'll check the first episode of Season 2 since I didn't like where it was headed. I might not continue the show after that. But writers are good at hooking people in that first episode. It's after that when things get iffy and shows start to wander, then they drop a cliffhanger in the hopes of a renewal.

Episode 3 of Mare of Easttown

Resident Alien -

Short 10 season Syfy tv show. I wouldn't mention it here but it's funny. A lot of great characters. Actually all of them. And it's horror because of the Alien. That small town location always gets me too. Worth checking out. It's getting a second season too.

Episode 2 of Loki

Also without spoiling it, Resident Alien has a few surprises that I didn't expect. I don't think most will expect them unless they read press releases or episode descriptions.

Icelandic series streaming on Netflix. Watched the first episode last night. Has a bit of a supernatural flavor to it.

Mr InBetween season 1, and a bit of season 2.
Australian crime dramedy.
Basically think of...elements of two hands, breaking bad, and sopranos...smaller scale, about a Sydney based "fix it" man, trying to balance his life. Same kind of job as Mike from Breaking Bad had.
It's pretty dark, well written and at times very funny.
I don't know if or how you guys can get it - but I'd like to recommend it.

This Is Pop

Streaming on Netflix. Documentary about pop music, mostly in the 90s. I don't normally binge watch stuff, unless it grabs my attention. This grabbed my attention. Fascinating.

War of the Worlds TV Season 2 Episode 1. So so. Not that great. Can't recommend.

Why Women Kill Season 1 8/10

Desperate Housewifes meets Fargo.

3 different stories taking place in the same house, but in 3 different decades. You know a person will die and someone is the killer in each story, but you don’t know who either is. The season have you second guessing yourself in each episode due to constant twists and a character gallery almost only consisting of sympathetic people. I thought it was a lot of fun.

War of the Worlds Season 2 (almost up to date) -

Really not worth it unless you watched season 1. It's about to move into the soap opera stuff again I think from Season 1 that I hated. You know it's not good when you know the character's lines before they say them.

Still some good acting in the show. It's just the idea that isn't good anymore. It's either just a bad idea or showing the budget of the show. The shots still look good. But stuff is happening which makes me think it's the budget.

War of the Worlds -

I checked wiki to see how many episodes are in the second season. And found out that somehow this show was renewed for a third season! I can't believe it as this season just feels low budget. I'm starting to think a show continuing has a lot to do with the financial backers and not 100% on viewing numbers. Unless a lot of people are watching this show. Which I find difficult to believe.

Two more episodes to go for me. Overseas they released the episodes in bunches. Over here we have to wait a week per episode.

The 3 FEAR STREET movies and STRANGER THINGS. Our 13 year old granddaughter told me I needed to watch the series, and I'm glad she did. I've watched season 1 and have seen the first 3 episodes of season 2 so far, and it's very well done. I'm a huge H.P. Lovecraft fan, and there are some elements of his "cosmic" horror in it. I'm curious to see how far they're going to take it.
I'm also waiting for AMERICAN HORROR STORY to start the 10th season, can't wait.
