300 sucked. I feel like most people who saw it had a predetermined, necessary liking for it- to me it was a complete letdown.

The visuals had been done better in Sin City, and the screenplay could have been written by a third grader.

I'm not calling you out on this, because everyone says something along these lines about it, but that's exactly how I felt after I watched Power Rangers when I was six. This kind of satisfaction just doesn;t do it for me anymore.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)

I keep coming back to this movie. Every inch of it is overwhelmingly powerful.

gripping, potent look at not only the power of the media itself, but the people that give it that power in the first place. it plays like a less satirical, but more intense network, and is very much still appropriate today (if not more so). everything is just so well-done, kirk douglas absolutely nails the main role.

highly recommended for alky, __v__, neverending, and despare.

I saw this a few months back in my pursuit of complete Billy Wilder enlightenment. It's definately one of his most underrated films, and its ferocious as hell.

I thought the same thing. I enjoyed when I saw it in the theater but that was because I was with some friends and some amusing events lead up to it. I watched it on TV thinking "I liked this" but when I watched it I realized I didn't pay attention at the theater and the movie sucked ass.

Descent with Rosario Dawson.

I just liked it. Might not be a great film, but I thought it was fun and entertaining. Like I said before about Transformers, I don't need or want every movie I see to be the Godfather.

Last watched.. The Faculty.

new Rambo. I was expecting so much more, but I found it to be only a slightly more satisfying action movie given all the gore.
