I really liked both of those. I'm guessing Levi is your favorite? I didnt like him very much in Ghost Walk, probably because i liked Adam Senft so much but he grew on me in A Gathering of Crows which is a fun novel. You should check it out.

Yeah, Adam was cool too. What about Brian's girlfriend (she may be his wife now) Mary SanGiovani? I really liked her novel The Hollower. Who are your favorite horror authors?

The Villain 01-10-2012 05:25 PM

I wanna read that. I just read her novel For Emmy. I liked it. She mentions The Hollower in it. My favorite authors are Brian, Stephen King, and Richard Laymon. I have more but i figured i would keep it brief.

I just started getting into Laymon, so far I've enjoyed the 4 books that I've read.

Mine would be King, Keene, Straub, and Skipp

The Villain 01-10-2012 07:50 PM

Which Laymon books have you read?

I havent read anything by Straub or Skipp. Got any suggestions?

For Straub, I would recommend Ghost Story.

Just looked that up, sounds good. Thanks

I've read The Woods Are Dark, The Traveling Vampire Show, Darkness Tell Us, and The Cellar.

For Straub I recommend Shadowlands, Floating Dragon, A Dark Matter, or Ghost Story

For Skipp I recommend The Scream, The Bridge, Jake's Wake, and Light At the End

The anthologies Skipp edited are great. Zombies and Werewolves and Shapeshifters are both full of really solid stuff.
