Cobra Kai season 3 7/10

Almost the exact same story as in season 2. That’s kinda pathetique. At least it still has its sense of humor.

(havent started S3 yet) It is kinda pathetic. I guess the $$$$ holders don't want to rock the boat. They don't get it.

Has it tho? Has it? Hmm..

Honestly, Angra, I was terrified of what was going to happen.

Not trying to be racist, but it reminded me of how people acts/reacts in the middle east.

Who are these people and how did they get this brainwashed by an egocentric lunatic? A dangerous puppet master.

That's the big question, isn't it? And they STILL believe his lies. He needs to be removed from office right now. Before he instigates more violence.

Send him to the moon and let him rule there. Until he runs out of air of course. ::devil::

Seriously, I'm worried about a Biden assassination at this point.

New episodes of:

Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist.
The show is what it is. Bit of light entertainment, occasional heartstrings stuff, and some music. I like it well enough.

The Rookie.
Great opening episode. I really quite like this show.
Kind of a mashup between Rookie Blue and Southland.
Nathan Fillion playing Nathan Fillion.
It's a decent cop drama.
Love the villain/s, and how this all played out.
Might have been a bit "Training Day" but yeah, really great episode.

History of Swear Words (Netflix).
Fun, little cringey at times, funny. Informative.

Vikings Ep. All Change 4/10

Zzzzzz...

Angra 01-09-2021 05:50 AM

Fargo Season 2 7-8/10

Better pacing than season 4, but it didn't have season 4's Godfather theme. So... a tie.

Fargo Season 1 (Rewatch) 8-9/10

Billy Bob Thornton... Talk about perfect casting. If it wasn't for him this might possibly only have been a 7/10 for me.

Angra 01-10-2021 02:09 PM

Fargo season 3 5/10

In my opinion, by far the least interesting story of all the seasons.

Pretty funny.

Reminds me of Rich & Morty just less clever and more horror oriented.

THREE'S COMPANY -Season 2. Can only do two episodes at a time, but John Ritter had great comedy timing, Suzanne Sommers was luscious during this period and I think The Ropers were the funniest part of the show, especially when Norman Fell would bust Audra Lindley's chop and grin at the camera.

My six year old grandson loves this show. He has seen old reruns when he at ours and likes to have it playing in the background while doing whatever he's doing at the moment.

Keeping the Classics alive for the Next Generations, I see::big grin::

Hard to believe it was considered risqué at that time, but not as much as SOAP which Bro and I would after TC. Our Grandfather asked why We would "...watch that Filthy show!"
Was almost tempted to ask how He knew that::smile::

Stan Against Evil Season 1-3 7/10

For some reason everybody sounds like they're in a cartoon and in all fairnes the show also plays out that way, like Rick & Morty and Gravity Falls. A little too retarded to be really good, but it did have plenty of laughs throughout the seasons.

cheebacheeba 01-27-2021 04:55 AM

I watched the first season and a bit.
Does it actually have an "ending"?

Yes and no. It has KIND of an ending they must have pulled outa their ass at the last minute. An ending with a cliffhanger, so I don't know what they were thinking. My guess is that John C. McGinley wanted out after season 3 and the director thought they could go on without him. But no, the show got cancelled.

Servant Season 1 4/10

Now I'm certain M. Night is an alien who has no clue how humans are human.

Wouldn't call this show horror. Heck, I'm not even sure there is a bad guy in it or if there is I have no idea who that would be. Nobody does anything really bad. It's just M. Night weird.

War of the Worlds -

Apparently there are two recent foreign made War of the Worlds TV shows. The one I'm watching is on EPIX channel. It's only 8 episodes. I have a few more left. I'll post final thoughts then.

Nice!!! loved Jonny Quest cartoons! The opening (1964) (intro music with the clips) is really a masterpiece.

So how are the eps hitting ya as an adult? I usually find "you can never go back" to the enjoyment you had as a kid seeing something, but sometimes gain a new appreciation.

I was just looking a some Amazon reviews... with at least "Jonny Quest - The Complete First Season" Golden Collection, not sure what company produced and is selling this, but reviewers are writing:

"I'm so tired of all this "PC" crap! The "Pursuit of the Po Ho" has some of the dialog removed, The lines "ignorant savages" and "heathen monkeys". In the episode of "Monsters in the Monastary" the line "Uh-oh. Here comes the Oriental Express" is deleted. All you see is Jonny's mouth move. "

"I once bought the set of DVDs and was horrified at all the edits. Apparently the studio brass decided to "scrub them clean" of anything politically incorrect for the packaged sets sold in bookstores with expensive coffee."

I guess I got lucky, Sculpt...just watched "Pursuit of the Po-Ho" the other night and those phrases were all in there, along with "Devils".
I remember really liking JQ in Kindergarten/first Grade with "Turn The Terrible" (Giant pterodactyl shown in the credits), although being frightened by some episodes, especially the Mummy, The Invisible Monster and the old Nazi. Found some VHS's
in the 90's at my local video store and found they still held up.
In Adult hindsight, I would have to admit the show is pretty racist -all the Villains , for the most part, are Asian, African or Latino, along with a smattering of Slavic as well. Must remember The Cold War was quite intense during that time and Vietnam was beginning to heat up. Also, despite technology available, the World was still a larger place than it is now.

Lots of Cool gadgetry, especially the Flight packs and "Race" is a true Bad-Ass! One thing for sure, I would leave "Bandit" in a kennel; he's truly more of a hindrance than a help. Reminds Me a lot of Spritle and Chim-Chim from SPEED RACER.
LOVED SR in Fourth Grade, but unlike JQ, it has not aged well
