HDC BATTLE ROYALE III - THE HUNTING SEASON ZONE - ROUND NINE OF HUNTING
ALL the Lycans have been set free inside The Hunting Season Zone UNARMED! Each Power Saw can cause damage which will be worth 6 HP! And also, Someone else will be joining all of you in the hunt. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5..._aaron-now.gif THE CHAINER! He will be waiting for you, Wraiths. The entire Hunting Zone is divided into FOUR big Sectors - 1, 2, 3 & 4. You have to mention which Sector you will be in when you are doing your hunting. NOT MORE THAN TWO WRAITHS CAN BE IN THE SAME SECTOR AT THE SAME TIME! Be mindful. Wraiths, PM me who your target (or targets) will be in the Hunting Zone. Also mention the Sector where you will be when you are doing your hunting. The failure to use even a single Power Saw, or if more than TWO Wraiths end up in the SAME Sector, will mean each Wraith will be shot TEN TIMES by the Snipers in the Watchtowers!! Also, the failure to use your Power Saw will result in you being locked in with the Chainer! You all have until Monday, NOON EST, to complete your hunting. P.S. - Freak is asked to turn in his Shotgun before the Hunting Zone outing. Also, Rayne is permitted to rejoin her team after spending the Sitting Out time inside the BR dungeon for this Challenge. Saytan, you have FOUR boxes in front of you - labelled M, N, O & P. You may select any TWO for yourself, and the contents inside them will be yours to keep FOREVER! That's not all. Demonwraith Saytan was led into the Reward Chamber before the Zone outing started. FOUR boxes were on a table in front of her, marked M, N, O & P. Saytan's selections were - N & O. Let us first see what was in the boxes which Saytan DIDN'T select - Box M - A ROCKET LAUNCHER WITH 5 ROCKETS! Box P - TWENTY BONUS HEALTH PACKS!! Now for the ones she chose. They are - Box N - carefully wrapped inside a steel mesh webbing... http://www.instructables.com/files/d...LSY.MEDIUM.jpg AN ADVANCED DIGITAL SHURIKEN, WITH ADJUSTABLE TARGETS! Box O - enclosed inside a long plastic wrapper... http://www.diverse-things.com/images...l_flail_lg.jpg A DOUBLE-BALL STEELED SPIKE FLAIL! Congratulations, Saytan! You are now the proud owner of two of the most rare weapons of Battle Royale III - the digital Shuriken and the Flail. The Shuriken comes with a unique target finder and will hit your chosen target, causing damage worth 5 HPs!! You can use the Shuriken ONLY when you are a designated Hunter in the Zone. Never otherwise. After you have used it 5 times, it will break and become useless. The Flail will bash your enemies' brains in, and will cause damage worth 3 HPs!! You can use it ONCE per outing, and EVEN WHEN YOU ARE ONE OF THE HUNTED! That's right, even if you end up losing the Challenge, you carry the Flail with you into the Zone. You can use it 10 times, before both the chains carrying the steel balls will break off and it will become useless. You can use your new weapons from the next Hunting Zone outing onwards. And now for the Secret Combo of TWO Boxes which Saytan was asked to guess, to unlock a special Hidden thing! Saytan's chosen combo - N & O. The Hidden combo - O & P. As many as SEVEN Power Saws have mowed through their intended targets till now. ONE still remains silent. The deadline expires in a little under 10 hours. Pray that the final Power Saw speaks by then. |

*the guards march towards the gates and swing the huge bolt back* *the gates swing back open with a really loud creaking sound* And then... ...the GUNFIRE!!!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!!... Plenty of birds fly out of the trees straight at the blue skies in fear! The gunfire stops after a few minutes... A group of people lie on the ground bleeding, moaning and screaming their lungs out in pain, amidst long wisps of steel-blue smoke which slowly lifts upward... Let's see what the scanners have to say. |

The Timeline in The Zone
NO DONATIONS of HPs were done before, during OR after this Hunting Zone Outing. Which means there was... ---------PLENTY OF MERCILESS AND BRUTAL POWER SAWING!----------- Saytan was in Sector 3, where she revved up her Power Saw and ripped into the chest of JENNA26!!! Jenna used up 6 HPs quickly. No worries for her, she had PLENTY to spare. So did Saytan. But she didn't know who was in her chosen Sector. THE CHAINER! It sneaked up right behind her and launched a huge attack, covering her in his spiked chains and tugging all around. Saytan nearly lost her limbs and neck, but somehow freed herself from the Chainer's grasp and flew for her life. She lost 20 HPs, yet survived. Bwind22 was in Sector 4, where he kicked FERRETCHUCKER into the ground and climbed over him, laughing maniacally as his Power Saw ripped right into Ferret's chest and tummy, throwing chunks of flesh and blood out of the screaming young Englishman!!! Ferret used up 6 HPs to heal himself, while Bwind continued his evil laugh. Rayne chose Sector 3, where she revved up her Power Saw and threw it directly at FERRET's running back!!! The saw ate into Ferret and ripped him almost into two, and his HPs came to his rescue again. Rayne didn't stop there. She pulled out her Plasma Rifle and shot Ferret with a huge electric bolt, which left him really shaken and stirred. 2 HPs and plenty of spasming and shaking, but Ferret survived. But this was the Sector of the Chainer. Rayne had a continuous alarming feeling she was being watched, and it was true. The Chainer swung away from tracking Saytan and headed straight for Rayne, immediately locking her limbs and neck in his merciless chains. The spikes tugged hard, and the last thing Ferret's eyes saw before he went unconscious from sheer fright and pain, was Rayne's body being ripped apart into pieces!!! DEMONWRAITH RAYNE IS DEAD!!!!! Roshiq chose Sector 4 for himself, where he hunted JENNA26 down and made her the victim of his merciless Power Saw!!! 6 more HPs used up by Jenna here. She had a stockpile of them, and they were being used up fast. Straker was tracked inside Sector 2, where he jumped FERRETCHUCKER from behind and ripped through his sides with his Power Saw!!! Poor Ferret. He used up 6 more of his stored HPs to become FIT again. Chrono went into Sector 2, where she aimed carefully and THREW her fully-revving Power Saw straight at FERRETCHUCKER'S HEAD!! Ferret dodged, but the Power Saw fell straight on his right thigh and nearly cut it off from the rest of his body!! 6 HPs to the rescue again. Ferret was bleeding, and thanking his stars. FreddyMyers went into Sector 1, where he found out JENNA26's hiding place and mowed her down with his savage Power Saw!!! 6 more out of Jenna's backpack. Plenty still to spare. And... that's it from the Zone! Where was Despare?! Absolutely no idea because... I received NO PM from him yet again! And for that, he is marked for a very special and a very brutal punishment. Shortly after the entire Hunt was over, and 30 minutes before the deadline ticked over, two guards strode towards Despare and bound his hands and feet tightly with a long stretch of chain. He was then led forward into the big metal container, whose doors were securely locked by an electronic computer code. The doors slowly unlocked by themselves and a huge roar came from within. The two guards shoved Despare inside the container and the doors immediately shut behind him. One of the guards kept holding one end of the chain's handle in his hands. Then came Despare's loud inhuman shrieks from the inside, followed by desperate knocking sounds all around the container, which was followed by plenty of huge roars one after the other. Shortly, the knocking sounds stopped. 5 minutes later, the doors opened. The first guard pulled out the chain. It came out surprisingly easily, with a severed leg attached to it. The second guard hurriedly punched out the numbers, and the doors slammed shut almost immediately. The last thing the first guard saw inside the container was Despare's decapitated head, fallen near the door in two pieces!!! DEMONWRAITH DESPARE IS DEAD!!! The Wraiths saw the guards taking Despare away with them, and they instantly realised what was coming to them. The windows of the watchtowers opened. The snipers SHOT all the Wraiths TEN TIMES when the gates were starting to open!!! Sorry, Wraiths. Not only did you lose one of your best members to this outing, but you all were marked for punishment for Despare's absence during this Hunt. I will leave all of you to grieve over your losses and recover from your sniper shots. Ferretchucker, Jenna26 and all the surviving Demonwraiths are led into the Medic Center for treatments of their various wounds, gashes and injuries. The bodies of Rayne and Despare are carried into the Morgue. Let's have a look at the updated statuses... |

V- for future BRs, can we consider other options for punishing no-shows? It's not really anyone else's fault that we got stuck with a deadbeat teammate, yet we all suffered because of it for weeks. |

And there's always this thing of how much will they not show. For some it might just be a one off thing and their sorry, and sometimes a person could forget twice in a row and that's a mistake. Personally I think there should be a 3 strike system. Every time you don't show up you get a strike. After the third, you get severely punished.
