I think both God of War games are a part of horror gaming, for the elements in gameplay and story. Like for example the Medusa head etc.
God of War II gets this one. |

Weirdly, I agree with both points and counter-points made here. It IS mythology and hence action/adventure, and there ARE horror elements in the game. The demonic temple, the altars, the incredible and huge foes like Hydra...all of em add to the atmosphere. It may be debated, but it is safe to assume that this game is unique, because it is a blend of ALL possible genres of gaming.
The Thing fights off a tough challenge from God of War II and prevails 5-4 in a real tough match!! next one up in a bit... |
