Trying to read Evening Snow Will Bring Such Peace by David Adams Richards, but I'm not getting into it. Nowhere near as absorbing as Nights Below Station Street.

I read the first book in hard cover a year and a half before the show was made thought it was kind of short and then i thought well if this can be published this short and tell a story i should have no problem writing a novel...but its a fun read

Been reading the second Found magazine book and issue 5 of the magazine, which came in the mail this week. Great collections of found photos, notes, etc. The new issue of the magazine concerns mostly crime and the found archives of an FBI agent. Good stuff.

Finished Stewart O'Nan's Snow Angels this week, leaving me unsure of what to read next, prose-wise, at least (I've got more than enough comics to keep me busy for a while.) Might re-read King's Danse Macabre. Might start in on Diana Washington Valdez's Harvest of the Women.

'Dark Knight' again, haven't read anything new in awhile. Nothing's really caught my interest long enough or at all.

Hey Sam?
I'm having a hard time finding E-comics that are suitable for my 9 year old...any website suggestions?
Also, she wants to make her own comic books as well, any good teaching links?
Thought I'd ask someone who actually is invoved with online comics and who's talented:)

I'm about halfway through Cornell Woolrich's I Married a Dead Man, which is a little slow, but also has its moments of being lots of fun.

I have loaned this book out more than any other...I doubt I will ever see it again.
I loved this book, but got stuck in the middle for quite awhile.

The Birthday Party, by Stanley Alpert, a memoir about a federal prosecutor who, on the night before his birthday, gets kidnapped by a small group of criminals who want to rob him. Interesting story. Not hugely well written, but compelling nonetheless.
