I'm assuming from my generation of horror movies. Certainly Sadako, Jigsaw, Kayako, and maybe Annabelle. I think pretty much everyone can easily recognize them, and the movies they're in are all well made. They're all still relevant 10 years after their initial releases (except Annabelle, but I've heard rumors of sequels involving her).

Yep I did mean from your generation. I haven't seen any of the those movies and you have quite a bit of amazing knowledge about movies. Your signature made me think about icons of horror. You know, Dracula, Frankenstein etc then on to the trifecta of the 80's. ::smile::

By Sadako, I meant Samara. They're all some of my favorites.

If it manages to stay alive after it stings you, It's a zombee.

Truth be told, I didn't know that. But I do know Samara.

Sadako was her name in the Japanese version. I got confused.

People go into movies with expectations far too high these days. V thought last year's Godzilla would be this generation's JAWS. Now horrorcrux predicts Unfriended is this decade's Ring. SMH. http://media.scout.com/media/forums/...8/facepalm.gif

I'm not expecting anything. It could be worse than The Devil Inside. I'm saying that it COULD be this generation's The Ring because of the way it uses technology to scare us. I also said it will obviously divide audiences. I might be on the side that hates it. I'm just hoping it's good.

Movie goers are far more savvy and jaded these days. And movies are coming out faster and faster all trying beat the last one. I think we are losing a little bit of the "magic".
