All Cheerleaders Die

Yeah, I lasted 5 minutes. Wanted to tear my eyes out.

I think I saw parts of this before. Maybe sections in between and the ending. But I forgot about it at first. I decided to watch it last night when I saw the guy who plays Sam in Supernatural in the credits. Also, I have a passing interest in what movies Lindy Booth shows up in. I think this is her best performance that I've seen. She's really strong in it and you are drawn to her character. The movie is a pretty good isolated High School type slasher with modern technology at the time added in. Kind of dated now though. I don't think many use Instant Messenger or AOL anymore for that matter. I do think they could have done a bit more with the environment. Yet it's worth checking out and I'll probably get it on DVD/Blu-ray eventually. I didn't find much fault with this one. A nice surprise "who done it" type of mystery slasher that doesn't come around much.

"The Alamo" (2004) 7/10

Gotta admit, fell asleep halfway through but woke up right before the last brutal 30 minutes. Holy hell. Can't really call it a happy ending.

Great performances from everyone, but Billy Bob Thornton stole the spotlight as Davy Crockett.

Am sure Ah-nuld must be kicking himself after seeing the end product.

Dull, lifeless and slow-moving, which could have been an action-packed whodunnit. Surprising to see accomplished actors like Sam Worthington & Terrence Howard in this, when there was nothing much to do for either of them, specially the latter. And that ending, both of them, didn't make sense at all.

Avoid, unless you absolutely have to see the Terminator in his 70s sleepwalk through a snoozefest, laced with some action and gory sequences which are few and far-between.

Well I finally saw The Purge and I thought it was alright. I give it 6/10. It wasn't that great and I've seen better but it wasn't all that terrible but I know I wouldn't see it again. I've heard the 2nd one was supposed to be better, so I'll have to wait and see and see how the 2nd one will come out. I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD.

Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier
Meh. Typical superhero stuff. And add the fact that Captain America is one of the more boring superheroes.
Good thing Scarlett Johansson was there.

I thought it was alright.
Then again, I'm a bit of a fan of the Schwarz so that might have something to do with it.

Child of God (2013)

This had got pretty terrible reviews but I really enjoyed it. James Franco directs this low budget Southern Gothic tale about a Hill billy corpse fucker who has perfect teeth but poor toilet hygiene.

Hahahahaha

Seen it and i can only agree. ::big grin::

Damn what a disgusting movie..

Fudge. I don't post about action or other movies much here. But of all Arnold's recent movies, I was looking forward to seeing this one the most. Cast looks great too.
