I finally got around to viewing "Antropophagus" and was very pleasantly suprised... This movie kicked ass!

I had to take a snapshot of the infamous scene in which Nikos (aka "The Antropophagus Beast") rips Maggie's unborn child from her womb and eats it - That was sick!

just watched mathieu kassovitz's la haine (1995).

firstly- thanks alky for being the last straw in getting me to watch this film. i had been meaning to for some time, but your recommendation brought it to the top of my netflix queue. i was more or less blown away by this one. extremely gritty, extremely real, and extremely good.

8.5/10

Interesting premise and some interesting twists but the ending just kind of petered off into nothing....

I love that movie...really cool premise, and Jason Flemyng was badass (who knew?). Agreed on the ending though...didn't really go anywhere.
