i think the problem was the cast. the story and effects were ok ... i wasnt expecting much in the first place ... but i found the cast - every on of them - to be impossibly unengaging - i couldnt care less if any of them lived or died. i did like the approach the film took this time where no one was buddies with anyone else this time. a far more brutal film than the 1st. |

The characterisation in the scripts was the biggest drawback of the movie...otherwise it was really engaging from after the first 25-30 mins till the end. It was a notch above AvP thats for sure. They need a good script writer for the third one, if they ever make it. I wonder if Sean is available... |
