The Bank Job

This was a fun bank heist flick. British humor always makes me chuckle and others I know look at me like I am crazy but I guess because I actually get it and they don't. The flick was very well acted and it was pretty suspenseful even though you wouldn't really think so. Just needed a bit more action in it because the action didn't really pick up until the final 15-20 minutes of the film. I guess that has to do with it being based on a true story/events.

Clerks II

I have seen this movie time and time again. I saw it in the theatres when it was first released about three to four times and then a handful of times on DVD since then and it still makes me laugh extremely hard. I think it was very well done by Kevin Smith and the way he wrote it made it come back full circle nicely.

Away From Her

A touching and impressive directorial debut from Sarah Polley. Probably not for most people here as it is an adult drama/romance dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia, but the story, acting and directing are top-notch. I have always been in love with Julie Christie and this one really brings it home for me. I cried.

Gene Kelly tap dancing on roller skates is an amazing sight to behold and ends up being a great scene.

Very. I'm a Clooney fan myself, but I also put off seeing it for the same reason. Didn't really look like something I'd be into. Eventually, I just watched it and thought it was really good.

It's basically one of the only three good George Clooney movies. It's really good, you should watch it for sure.

Eastern Promises (2007)

It's pretty good, but it's a small, small movie. Cronenberg needs to take a few more steps with his directing if he's going to take on projects like these and make them something truly memorable.

Undead or Alive (heh, a zombie swordfight... this movie is ridiculous) & Tiki.

Good thing I'm not lactose intolerant...

You know, because of the cheese.
