Dan in Real Life

Not bad, I didn't care for the girls' characters and everybody seemed a bit subdued but it was an alright movie.

Well, if you're looking for straight-forward no-brainer torture, I'd recommend Hostel. Me- I'll take a more subtle, awkwardly realistic, "confusing" (I'd use chaotic) piece of horror cinema like Audition over that crap any day of the week.

Oh Audition is better than Hostel. Just because I didn't think it was phenomenal doesn't mean I can't tell good from bad.

Random and scattered?

Should a movie be like this - opening credits roll, Rambo walks in holding a minigun against an army, keeps blasting away for 90 minutes, a shot of the carnage he did, and end credits roll?

Every good story needs a decent buildup - in case of Rambo, it was exceptional and horrific at the same time, if you related to the true-life crimes showed as glimpses in the first 20-25 odd-minutes.

Empathy is one of the most-redeeming qualities of a movie lover, my friend.;)

Premature plot. Needed more works & thoughts for the idea.

Mother of Tears: The Third Mother (2007)

Though you may find some mixed reviews about the movie, but I'll say ....WoW! Argento is back with the 70's splatter fest! And this time he is more brutal with the victims. I quite enjoyed all the gore parts, blood sheds, nudity and his usual chilling background scores. But little bit disappointed with the final climax. Moreover, feeling somewhat sorry for myself that I still haven't seen Inferno yet. I'll order it on e-bay soon.

Like Jodie's new look? I thought she looked gorgeous.

And how was We Own The Night in your opinion? (wrote my review of it only last night, in my Movie Reviews thread)
