Doomsday.

Detailed review later in my Movie Reviews thread...but this one kicks some major ass! A great throwback to the actioners of the 80s like Escape From NY and Mad Max, it was a fun ride from start to finish.

Plenty of gore, splatter, cheesy moments and some awesome cinematography and neat direction (although it did have some minor script flaws)...this is one movie which BEGS to be seen on a cinema screen (ala Grindhouse) for the experience to be believed.

Gotta admit I was afraid it might turn out to be a dud...but I was glad to be wrong this time.

Can't wait for the DVD now.

Doomsday sounds promising... won't be as dope as 1990: The Bronx Warriors I bet :D

Nowhere near it. Think of a cross between Escape From NY, Mad Max and The Warriors, with a nudge to 28 Days Later.

Does the recipe sound delicious?;)

videodrome
(1983) and network (1976)

-what you might call a small "media under the microscope" marathon. both great films (especially network), and both frighteningly appropriate today.
