I can't wait to see the blow by blow report so I can see how this was possible.

The only good thing for the Chainsaws was, the gifted health packs reaching them in the nick of time.

Although, a person who would need it the MOST later on gifted some of theirs to others...and so fell short when he/she needed it desperately.

And cmon, 38 shells fired at 5 members only?! 4 of em didnt get even ONE shell into em?

What kinda shooting is THAT? :p

The TWIST Revealed!

As most of you would remember, I mentioned a surprising twist waiting for you...which would be revealed tomorrow at Noon EST because of the Hunting Season Round #2 deadline.

Because all guns have fired, and the results have been tallied up...I ll go ahead and reveal it NOW...

If you remember, 5 points won you a health pack. Some of you, either Monsters or Mad Killers or Chainsaws, scored 9 points in Round 1, and got 1 health pack...and then proceeded to score 16 points in Round 2, and got 3 health packs...

The catch here was - those who scored 9 points...got 1 health pack AND CARRIED 4 POINTS INTO CHALLENGE #2!!

And the extra point scored in Challenge #2 means...

YOU GET A BONUS HEALTH PACK!!! :D

Final Status Report of the Night - Day 4

The Monsters Squad

All fit with 3 health packs each, except for MurderDoll and Jenna who got 2 each.

The Mad Killers

All fit with 5 health packs each, except for Psycom5K who has 3, and Alkytrio666 who has 2.

Ash's Chainsaws

Detailed status report at Noon EST tomorrow.

Catch you tomorrow with the Chainsaws' status, as well as Challenge #3. Have a good night's rest, contestants!

Rayne 04-02-2008 10:37 PM

I have a rule question...

Can we gift a health pack to 'whomever needs it the most'? Or must we name a specific receiver?

I don't think I'll be able to get to sleep tonight after finding out how little blood was spilled. I wanted a pool of blood, and I got a slightly large puddle. :(

Good point.

I had stated earlier that you must send to me your health pack along with the name of the recipient who gets it. But since that has no way of being known (and to be fair to all teams in the fray), you may gift your health pack to "whomever needs the most."

Let's face it, a gifted health pack to a healthy and fit contestant would only result in coming back to the gifter, so it is only fair to all 29 of you to use up the gift for a just, and needy, cause.

Of course, even with the gifted health packs, a person may not survive a huge attack, like today's.

And the ones coming up in the future are tougher than today's...so you have a faint idea of what is coming...

The Challenges get tougher, as do the trips into the Hunting Season. But no worries, there will still be plenty of bonuses to pick up. :D

neverending 04-02-2008 10:47 PM

Humbug.... why not just say there's a pool of health packs and whoever gets shot gets to use them. How can we plan who to shoot when they'll just get a health pack because they need it most?

I want my bullets to go to whomever needs to be shot most :/

The naming a particular person rule is valid for this Challenge #2 only.

And its true, the deadline is past, and the results on the Status of the Chainsaws stand.

You're right...That does make sense

I meant for future challenges though

But yeah...I was just trying to make it a little easier...It will definitely be more of a challenge your way.

Should we maybe vote on it?

_____V_____ 04-02-2008 10:56 PM

You forget NE, that it's still a matter of choice.

Seven Chainsaws didnt gift a health pack to a fellow member...says something? ;)

neverending 04-02-2008 10:59 PM

I don't think the objective is to make the game easier- it's to make it a CHALLENGE.

I'll abide by the rules IT & V set forth.... I'm just griping.

haha...I understand...You do have a good point though :)

And __V__ said things are going to get more difficult, so I think the 'challenging' aspect will still be pretty strong

_____V_____ 04-02-2008 11:01 PM

It certainly wont be challenging enough if the contest becomes totally lopsided.

Since the penalties become harsher and more harsher, its only fair to have a rule which will work for the benefit of most contestants.

Also, if you gift 2 health packs to someone who has 0, and gets shot 6 times...he/she still dies, remember?

That will be a huge factor in determining the survival, once Challenge #3's penalty starts rolling...

I am letting you into a little secret - it wont always be bullets and shells you have to dodge or duck, or shoot for that matter. ;)

I think a good part of that is because they had no idea who to send a health pack to- fearing it might be wasted, they kept theirs. If they knew for sure they could just gift it to "whoever needs it" they might be more apt to share.

Just another way to look at it.

This is true...I know for a FACT that this was the reason many of us kept ours.

And, that's actually why I asked about it...I would definitely be willing to give mine up if I knew it wouldn't be wasted.

That's also an excellent point...I just really don't want the game to end too soon...So, I suppose I'm biased :o

_____V_____ 04-02-2008 11:05 PM

Yep, hence the rule of sharing health packs stays...but the part of naming a particular contestant as receiver is limited to Challenge #2 only.

Henceforth, you may send in your gifted health pack (or packs) to whomever needs it the most in your group. The medics team will gather em and try to be on time to the most needy ones in your group.

Laterz...see you all tomorrow morning. I m bushed...

IT the Traveler 04-02-2008 11:19 PM

There was no rule on sharing of health packs in Battle Royale.

But V pleaded with me about it, quoting some of you and saying that it would result in a quick and one-sided contest. And I want it to be a contest, a challenge - not only for the groups, but for the individuals too. A test of their knowledge, skills, tactics and humaneness.

Hence I allowed it.

But any futher tweaks to the rules will result in them being scratched entirely. I have warned V about it already.

I am truly touched by the valiantness shown by the 2nd dead HDC warrior. Even in death, they have etched their name in the annals of Battle Royale. My salute goes to you, noble one.

Psycom5k 04-03-2008 12:08 AM

Hmmmm does anybody else think that IT's avatar looks like a V? Hmmmm seems fishy to me.

yep ..

i didnt share because i have no idea who is perceived as a threat ..

my thinking was that if i made it through - i'd at least know for the next time once they show us who was targeted the most.

i wish there was a way to know before the one person got offed.

FIRST UPDATE - DAY 5 MORNING

Good morning folks...

I see all of you have had a nice and long rest. Let me remind you that two dead bodies are lined up in the Morgue - one a Monster, and the other a Chainsaw...

The first notable news of the morning is that, the dried blood sample taken from the club under Chainsaw Urgeok's bed has found a match...

...no, it isnt Despare...

...the match is...

Newb!!

That explains his disappearance 2 nights ago, and subsequent return with a huge bump on his head...

The club is being dusted for fingerprints as we speak...

...

ok, ok, it's out in the open..

i admit it..

we were using the club as a sex aid and i got a bit carried away, things got a bit rough...

if you think the bump on his head is bad, you should see his ..

on second thought - never mind.

_____V_____ 04-03-2008 07:38 AM

Whoa...

And Rayne was defending you in this matter...:D

I am recommending to the medics to give Newb a thorough physical check...for more similar "bumps", just in case.

well, you know he likes his beer ..

it always starts the same, get him a case or 2, a chicken salad sandwich by candlelight - the guy loses all his inhibitions

ferretchucker 04-03-2008 07:51 AM
