Which version of Dracula is better: the original with Bela Lugosi or Bram Stoker's Dracular? We could even say: Which followed the book more closely?

Copollas' Dracula followed the book very closely... but it was poorly cast. extremely poorly cast.

I'd have to say the Lugosi origional based on that alone.
