Spiral

Adam Green does a 180 degree turn from the hack n slash fun of Hatchet in this tight and rather gripping psychological thriller. The acting is great (especially from Chuck's Zachary Levi) the jazz score is cool and the story is engaging. The reviews are calling it Hitchcockian, but it's really closer to the work of Lucky McKee/Angela Bettis - it's almost like Roman. I really liked it, but some hated it.

8/10

I'm dying to see Spiral, like I've mentioned before.

This upcoming Friday... taking a little road-trip with a few friends. Two hours away to a town with a theatre that actually has taste. There Will Be Blood. I can't wait.

I don't think I'm going to be able to take Spiral seriously, I watched the trailer and the only thing that kept echoing in my head was "Sit... on... my... face!"

The Thin Red Line. I'm not that into war movies but it was amazing.
Cry Baby. Much like Rocky Horror Picture Show, so bad it's good.
Friday the 13th 1-3 as part of a 3 day marathon on tv last night.
Friday the 13th 4-6 tonight.

^ I assume you watched the F13ths on SCREAM, hm?
I noticed they had a little marathon going on.

Just finished Amelie... a favourite.

The Ringer - 9/10

just because it was freaking hilarious! me and some friends were watching it and we were laughing the whole time. most of it wasn't even about the movie.

Vertigo (1958)

After twenty-five viewings it never loses any of its chills or exhileration.
