[QUOTE=Sculpt;972487]I rewatched the Amityville Horror a few months back, and it didn't hold up very well at all. I used to consider it one of the best Horror films, I don't anymore. Must be a period piece.

AMITYVILLE: ITS ABOUT TIME
AMITYVILLE. A NEW GENERATION

There must be an Amityville "curse" on the sequels that I've watched so far. I'm going to try watch all the ones I can find on youtube. Really just out of curiosity more than anything.

--------------

Chrono, I am going to keep my eye out for Ghost team One. Sounds like my type of film. ::big grin::

Maleficent ... I was not a fan. Maybe it's because she is one of my favorite classic villains not only in the Disney universe but of all time.

THE AMITYVILLE DOLLHOUSE. 1996

A man builds a new home for his family on a lot where the previous house had burnt down. In an original back building on the lot, he finds a dollhouse crafted in the likeness of the Amityville house. Why its there, I'm not sure, and come to think of it, I don't think the word Amityville was mentioned once in the movie.

It was actually okay..but just okay.

Brick Mansions (2014)

Pretty lack lustre remake of the better District13. A weak finish to Paul Walker's career. That being said a moron like me still liked.

"100 feet" 4/10

A ridiculous haunted house flick.

Willow Creek

here be spoilers:

Being a fan of Bobcat's last film I was looking forward to this. Then I found out it was going to be of the "found footage variety" and my boner subsided a bit.

For a ff movie the video was pretty good...some of them are almost unwatchable with all the shaking. The two main actors were also very good. My biggest complaint is about 3/4 through there's this one scene where the camera is on the two actors huddled in the tent just listening to noises....and it goes on forever. I get that it's suppose to build tension...and it does..for a bit...then it seem like one of those over-long "Family Guy" jokes. Also bummed that there was NO reveal. Unless Bigfoot is suppose to look like Kathy Bates in "At Play in the Fields of the Lord"

Almost Human

Based on some good reviews, I gave Almost Human a chance. It was not bad for a low budget movie, but it ended up being just so derivative that it took me out of the movie. It's a movie that reminds me of too many other movies. However, the 'rape' scene was genuinely grotesque and horrifying. It's also a bloody movie but not as bloody as was reported.

The Oxford Murders (2008)
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-oIyAGx1td...rd_murders.jpg
Flat, uninspired thriller from Álex de la Iglesia. Hurt,as usual, does a fine job but Frodo is just a pain to watch. De la Iglesia's filmography seems like such aneven ride.

800 Bullets next, I may track down 'As Luck Would Have It' or Common Wealth after that...
