Oh, yeah, definately. I felt like, for the first time in a long time, I was watching something truthful.
Actually, hellfire, I recommend a movie I just watched for the first time:

Pieces of April (2003)

Like 'Real Girls', this movie just feels so goddamned truthful. It never asks us to believe anything unbelievable, but instead reveals its story in a graceful, life-like way. This is some of the best independent filmmaking I've seen in awhile.

Have it and love it too. :) . And what a coincidence, Patricia Clarkson is in it as well. And she just steals every scene. She actually makes it so hard for us to hate her, and not because of her illness, but because she's just so funny, even when she's being hurtful with the people she loves. Again, it's a movie you completely identify with, the characters are real and flawed. Another great movie that showed that Katie Holmes can actually act. Or could, rather.

Amen to that. I was very impressed by the way she handled that role.

Haven't been able to pick up anything new or get to the theatre lately. Lucky for me, I have no problem watching the same shit over and over and over and over....
