October sky. Pretty damn good performances all around, interesting movie.

I love Jake Gylenhaal, but every time i see him i hear a voice scream "FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAHS!!!"

Better than hearing "I wish I knew how to quit you. "

City Lights (1931)

This truly is one of the greatest. Every time I see it it plays out more passionately, more sweetly, more greatly than ever before. It also contains some of the most brilliantly constructed comedy sequences of all time.

This is one of those roles for which I auditioned and had multiple callbacks :o

The same year I had a callback to play Russell Hammond in Almost Famous, a callback to play Palmer Joss in Contact and five fucking callbacks for the role of Moxon in Varsity Blues

guess I wasn't supposed to make it as an actor

oh, I just watched Bourne Ultimatum

good stuff. nothing brilliant, but better than most action flicks.

7.5/10

Look at the bright side, Rod.

If you'd got the part as Russell Hammond you wouldn't be here today. ;)

Death Sentence - 6/10
Pretty good. It's a little far fetched at times for the "This could happen to you" theme. The last 20 minutes of the film are worth the rental fee.

the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy 7/10
