Oh aren't you clever ! :p |
Juno – a decent debut by a first-time screenwriter, despite my dislike for the director’s work. Neither as funny or as heartwarming as it’s supposed to be, but not bad.

The Shaggy Dog, Knocked Up & Finding Neverland Knocked Up wasn't as funny as I thought but I still was able to enjoy it. Finding Neverland was really good though even though some may be put off by the slow pace. I can honestly say I laughed more watching The Shaggy Dog (1959) than Knocked Up. |

Just finished I am Legend. Really liked it. One of Will Smith's best performances, subdued and hurt through the whole thing, not Steven Hiller (ID4) with infected. My wife summed it up best; Castaway meets 28 Days Later. And who doesnt love Sam. Dogs rule. |
How does I Am Legend compare to Omega Man or Last Man on Earth?
Just watched Shoot Em' Up and I really feel like I've been using the words "mindless action flick" incorrectly... until now. I still had fun with it but there's nothing here for anybody looking for depth, story, emotion, character progression, or realism. It's just a lot of guns going off with some great stunts and a lot of visual flair. |
Bad Lieutenant
I watched the NC-17 rated version of Bad Lieutenant earlier today. I was expecting some laughs and lots of action, But didn't get much of either. The tone of the movie turned out to be quite serious and to the point...
Definately a good movie though. However it was pretty sad and made me feel pretty f*cked up in some parts - Knowing that kind of stuff goes on and whatnot. I wonder which scenes were cut out to make the R rated version... Nonetheless, reccomended. |
