Eastern Promises

Wow. Cronenberg moves into Scorsese territory with this one. Dense, rich, beautifully acted and gripping. I was simply blown away by the growth of this filmmaker whom I already adore, but now I simply stand in awe of him.

A little horror/mystery gem from the past, with a few creepy scenes up its sleeves.

All horror fans in all ages should catch this one.

And got halfway through Jersey Girl before I fell asleep.

the fact that jersey girl was not only watchable but actually good says a lot about Kevin Smith I think.

it was okay not up to kevin smiths best work tho
