What movie am i thinking of? HELP
I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid...and I only remember 3 scenes. The movie took place in either a forest or jungle, and I believe it may fit into supernatural horror genre. anyway....one scene i remember is a man walked into a small cabin and saw a snake crawling through the eyesockets of a human skull. another scene is a man and woman are "going at it" on the ground, and before you know it, a knife (with no visible hand or body) comes down on top of them and kills them both (which makes me think it was some type of invisible killer), and the third scene is a man possibly in camo or green clothing sitting in a tree with a gun, and I believe the "killer" might have cut his throat. that's all i can remember about the movie. It wasn't slapstick horror or funny in any way....and it scared the everliving crap out of me. i hope someone has some idea of what this may be. you can email me directly [email protected]
THANKS! BTW i believe the movie came out late 70's early 80's |
Once will be plenty if you post it in the right thread.

Trying to track down a film or two...
Long ago.....late 70's, I was about 8 years old and was up late one night watching tv hoping to come across a good horror film.
I was hoping someone could help me track down two films that I remember coming across that night. The first one all I can remember was a scene where someone was driving and old 40's model black sedan or limo. They were chasing someone who was running on the road. As they got close to them a large blade sprung from the door and cut the victims down. The passenger in the car was a large man dressed much like a 40's gangster. That's all I can remember of the film. It seemed really scary at the tim but then I was only 8. The second film I never saw but it was a trailer that came on during a commercial break from the above film. The trailer showed a painting of a hand and on each finger of the had was a severed head. The narrator said the film was so scary that they could not show scenes on television. For some reason I seem the remember the title as "guts" or "grits" or something like that. Again I was only 8 so I could be way off on the title but I am sure of the painting of the hand and heads... Do either of these ring a bell to anyone out there? Thanks ahead of time.....and good horror to you all! |

Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place. First time on forum. I REALLY need help finding out the title of a horror film. From what i can remeber, i think, it's set in a wahouse or something like that. The people in the waxhouse are looking at the waxhouse scenes, and then the story of the scene is re-enacted, via flashback or something like that. The one's i can remeber are a werewolf scene. The scene is then re-told, it's in some sort of farmhouse. Somebody gets attacked by a werewolf, and somebody else after is about to turn into a werewolf and get shot mid transformation. The scene of that happening is the scene set out in the waxhouse. Another scene is of the marquis de sade. The flashback is of the marquis beating, or maybe torturing some comely wench. somebody tries to rescue her, and she says something like 'please don't let them take me', inferring she is actually enjoying it, that is the scene being displayed in the waxhouse. I remember this bit because it's quite kinky!!! I also think there is some sort of scenes involving a mummy. I think the movie is mid80s, as that's when i saw it, although obviously it could be older, i think it looks 80s/70s though. I'm sorry if this thread is long and meandering and if the details are a bit sketchy. But please try to help, i'm desperate!!!!!!

IMDB keyword search "wax".
Partial matches. Fourth down, perhaps? |
|
may be waxhouse?? Sounds about the right time period. Can't find the film on 'imdb' and having trouble finding it on google, can you give me any more info on it? Director, producer, stars, etc. Then i can at least go from there. Thank you for trying to help. Definitely isn't the 4th film down on imdb 'wax' partial match. Is it perhaps called something else on imdb. I am english, and some horrors have different titles over hear than in america. Anyone else any ideas what film i mean, please, please help!!!!!!! P.S, if it helps, the stories element of the film (werewolf, marquis, mummy?) were sort of flashbacks, a bit like 'creepshow' or 'tales from the crypt', only they were a part of the film, rather than just stories being told and the story of the film itself was 'teens trapped, or dared, to spend the night in waxhouse' sort of thing. It may have had 'monster' in the title also, though i could just be imagining that and the story bit also . Probably confused matters, but please help!!!!!

Really?
Because it talks about wax figures & various stories being told, one of them being about a werewolf...seems strange to have found another film with both those elements... |

i agree. Now i know what the film is i would really like to see it again, as it has tonnes of horror references in it apparently, and i'm much more a horror fan now than i was then, and didn't get the references back then. What references for the newer one? Freddy, Jason, Jigsaw? let's hear yours. Got you're thank you checheba, doesn't seem to have put it up. Anyway, thank you so very, very , much

assumning you mean what horror references, there's wax figures or things relating to: the invisible man, jack the ripper, the thing (i think) it's alive, littles shop of horrors, the evil dead 2 and night of the living dead. It's over 20 years since i've seen it, so there may be more. the film also contains mummies, werewolves and vampires and frankenstein, if (somewhat hazy) memory serves me right.

First and foremost, this is the film you are looking for: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096426/ http://www.filmsy.com/wp-content/upl...8/Waxwork1.jpg It is an awesome movie and stars Zach Galligan, of Gremlins fame. I don't remember references from it's alive, LSOH, or Evil Dead 2 but it has been quite a while since I have seen it in its entirety, although I did watch bits and pieces of it on Fearnet not all that long ago and don't remember seeing any of those. Mummies, dracula, werewolves yes. Integral to the plot, actually. Now, I think where the confusion is coming in is the "remake" which is actually, I am assuming, THIS film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397065/ http://a1608.g.akamai.net/7/1608/117...mt045504H1.jpg Which is NOT a remake of Waxwork but, rather, a remake of a 1953 film of the same name. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045888/ http://www.cryptofthedead.com/images/HouseOfWax.jpg In these films a guy who owns a wax house turns the victims in to wax statues by....well....pouring wax in and on them. Kinda like taxidermy, I guess. I have never seen either film, because one is 57 years old, and one stars Paris Hilton, but I am 99% sure none of the wax scenes actually come to life in them. Waxwork, the film you seem to be looking for, is a very fun film, if you don't mind it being dated. |

the film i'm talking about is the Zach Galligan one, regarding the refereces, i suspect that you are right and i'm wrong, i think the 'evil dead 2' reference thing, is a dismemebred hand, though i suppose it could be a reference to films like 'the hand'; i also think the 'lSOH' plant thing may have being a reference to the 'invasion of the bodysnatchers' . I also read somewhere that they were going to put waxworks of freddy and jason in the film, but for some reason or other, they didn't (copyright worries perhaps?). anywho, thanks for the info and the reply.
P.S do you remeber the marquis de sade scene, very sexy, though i'm perhaps in a minority regarding that! |
Hellp! What's the title? Killer cock. Pictures provided.
Hi,
Could anyone help me with the horror about a certain killer creature pictured on one of the shots below? I watched it about a year ago on Zone Horror channel, late in the night... Looked everywhere but no luck. Thx! http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/4426/image038ot.th.jpg http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/403/image040e.th.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5...age042c.th.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2...age048s.th.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/4...age058w.th.jpg |
I'll show you a killer cock.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But seriously, there are a couple I know of, although I have never had the...honor?...of seeing either. One is called Soul Vengeance and one is called One-Eyed Monster. Soul Vengeance is a 70s film, One-Eyed Monster is recent. |
The Item? Brain Damage?

Don't we have an entire thread dedicated for this?

This one movie...
Alright, I'm new to this forum but I think this is the right place to ask. Anyway, here we go.
So I'm trying to recall a horror movie from maybe late 1990's to early 2000. It took place in a kind of haunted house, where at least 5 to maybe 10 people where staying. I distinctly remember some kind of garden as well, and maybe something relating to a rose? One scene was where a women was being dragged by her feet down a hallway into the darkness by someone or something. Not sure of this one scene, but I think there was one where a guy was looking into a fridge and something reached out to grab him. I know it's not much to go on, but any help would be great at this point! I can't figure out what movie it is and it's starting to bug me! |

I just figured it out...it was actually a tv mini-series called Rose Red. Thanks for the help anyway :P

It's Been Bothering Me Forever
I saw this one movie maybe ten years ago. All i can recall is a group of people in a house, demons were trying to get in. The only way the group seemed to fight the demons was by using the blood of Jesus or something; i believe they somehow had his heart actually. I remember them using it to seal doorways and if the demons tried passing through they would just disintegrate. I liked the movie but was only about ten at the time so i can't remember the name. Any help would be appreciated

Finally...
That was the one! I read a summary and it was exactly what i remember. Although the blood of Christ was apparently in a key, they didn't have his actual heart haha.
Thank You |
Help me identify this movie
So, I recall this movie from when I was about 5 or so, so I'm estimating that this movie is from the 80s, possibly the late 70s? I only recall some scenes from the movie, though I was young so my recollection might not be accurate to the actual movie. Any help provided in order to help me find the title of this movie is greatly appreciated.
I remember that the movie involved a mother (she was older, seemingly in her 60s or possibly older), and her son. She became infected with something when an older gentlemen she went on a date with 'bit' her in an alleyway. After she was bit, I remember seeing her standing next to the gentleman that bit her, and she had all pointy teeth and possibly red eyes. Her son was also spying on her at this time, and saw what happened to her. Another scene I recall is that she would eat people. Her son was trying to cover up the murders for her, so I remember him packing body parts into black garbage bags to dispose of. Finally, I remember the end of the movie involved a fire that was in this woman's house. The son was trying to save her from the fire, though she was sitting on the floor of presumably the kitchen. She was saying that she was a monster and that she needed to die in the fire, so the son left her to burn in the house. This is all I can recall from the movie, and some of it is definitely spotty. I've posted in other forums trying to find the title of this movie, though I haven't had much success. Someone once mentioned that it sounded like Flesh Eating Mothers, however I recently Netflixed that movie, and it wasn't the same movie that I'm talking about, though it's definitely an 80s b-rate. Edit: My brother said that the title was something like 'My Mom is a Zombie,' though I haven't found any movies with this, or a similar, title. Also, I don't recall the woman decaying, or being 'brainless,' or any general 'zombie' qualities, so I'm not sure if this is accurate. However, I thought I would mention it in the chance that it rings a bell for someone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks, everyone. |
