UPDATE FROM THE ZONE


As many as EIGHT rifles have roared through the Zone!

ONE remains silent.

And the scanners also reveal that, NEMESIS HAS BEEN IN ACTION!!!


NINE hours left till the deadline.

Oh fudge. That guy always got me in Resident Evil 3. I hope I escaped.

UPDATE FROM THE ZONE


A quick scan reveals that ALL Rifles have roared through the Zone, plus NEMESIS has also been seen shooting!

TWO Hellspawns have yet to send in their selection of Sectors. If they don't select one within the next TWO hours and 10 minutes, I will select one for them randomly.

Catch you all at the deadline with all the news.

You got mine, right?

Yes I did.

And the Deadline ticks over!!

Let's see what all transpired inside the Zone...

The Hunting Zone gates are immediately opened by the BR guards to let both teams back into the BR compound, just as the BR Snipers lower their guns and take out the bullets from them.



Let's see what the BR cameras reveal, from earlier in the day...



Before the Hunt started...


(CHRONOGRL declared to donate ALL of her HPs to WEAPON X!)

(WEAPON X declared to donate ALL of his HPs to WHOEVER NEEDED HPs THE MOST!)



And then, the Hunt commenced...

LOL - Nicely played, sir.

As soon as the gates closed behind them, the ZOMBIE TITANS formed a circle and were seen discussing at length about their targets. One team member seemed to have a different opinion and voiced it vociferously, while others tried their persuasion skills. Their argument was cut short by a tremendous ROAR which shook the grounds of the Zone, as birds flew out of the trees in sheer fright. All of the Titans became deathly still and silent, their eyes widening in terror as they looked at each other.

They all gulped a few times and dispersed into the Zone.


FERRETCHUCKER sneaked up ahead, slowly, behind CHRONOGRL who was busy hiding behind a tree and looking in front of her, aimed directly at her and SHOT her THREE TIMES in rapid succession!

(Chronogrl's body was rocked with the impacts, as she turned around in surprise, pulling out her HPs by instinct to patch herself, she had 14 HPs left with her)

Ferretchucker didn't wait to check on Chronogrl, and quickly ran into SECTOR 9 to hide!

Little did Ferretchucker know, but a pair of glaring, yellow eyes instantly gleamed as soon as Ferret entered their sights. The heavy, half-dead yet heavily muscled right arm lifted upwards, as the ROCKET LAUNCHER weighed on it loaded a rocket inside, and NEMESIS FIRED!!!!!

Ferret went flying backwards from the sudden, fierce impact of the exploding rocket! His face turned black in an instant, as his chest and legs opened up like jelly, gushing blood out everywhere! He fell down heavily between a few trees, and pulled out his HPs. 20 of them were needed to heal him from near-death status!!



HAMMERFAN whirled around, startled by the rifle shots which came from beyond the bushes on her right. She quickly ran through the undergrowth and arrived just in time to see Ferret disappear in the distance, and CHRONOGRL crawling into the shrubbery ahead. Pulling up her rifle, she aimed carefully and squeezed the trigger THRICE rapidly!!

(Chronogrl went flying forward, the impact catching her on her back and right side. Blood gushed out in a quick torrent, as she grabbed at her HPs to heal herself. She had 11 HPs left now.)

Hammerfan surveyed the damage she had done, dropped her now-empty Hunting Rifle, and proceeded directly into Sector 5 to hide!!



ROSHIQ waited quietly, listening intently to the rifle shots rocking the Zone far on his left, and then looked quietly at his prey. WEAPON X waited, alert at the shots on his left, but unaware of the hunter sneaking behind him through the tall grassy shrubs. Roshiq aimed directly at Weapon X's head, and FIRED ONCE!!!

(Weapon X heard the click of the trigger a fraction of a second earlier, and dodged towards his right to evade the shot but caught it squarely on his left shoulder. He went sprawling forward, instantly grabbing at 1 of his HPs.)

ROSHIQ didn't stop there. He snuck back from where he had come, and turned around to his left, straight towards the source of the shots. He came across CHRONOGRL who tried to sneak behind a tree feebly, and towered over her. Pointing the Hunting Rifle directly at her, Roshiq smiled. Then he pressed the trigger TWICE in succession!!!

(Chronogrl's survival instincts took over for an instant, as she jumped to her right with all her strength. The shots caught her squarely on her arm and right side, as she painfully pulled out 2 more of her HPs to heal herself. She now had 9 HPs left)

ROSHIQ waited till she patched herself with her HPs, blew a kiss at her, and then walked straight into Sector 2 to hide.

(And GOREPHOBIA declared to donate 7 of his HPs to CHRONOGRL!)


MICHAELMYERS sneered at the scene before him, and couldn't help but smile when he saw the hunter blow a kiss at his prey. Not wasting much time after Roshiq exited the scene, he got up to get CHRONOGRL directly in his sights, and squeezed the trigger THREE times quickly!!!!

(Three new wounds sprung up on Chronogrl's thighs and lower back, as she pulled at her HPs weakly. 3 more came out to do their faithful duty, and now she had 6 left with her.)

MichaelMyers smiled, satisfied at his job, and snuck through the bushes into Sector 3 to hide!



THE VILLAIN waited for a long time, and finally, assured that the sounds of shots had died down for some time, got up and walked towards the source intently. He came across the clearing where CHRONOGRL lay, heaving rapidly as her HPs covered her injured body, and shot THRICE at her at point-blank range!!!!!

(Chronogrl could do nothing but whimper and turn away, as two of the shots thundered into her back and one into her left leg. She was tired and weakening fast, but had enough strength to pull out some more HPs to heal herself. She had just 3 of them left with her now.)

The Villain threw the rifle away, then sneaked through the bushes, half-hidden, into Sector 3 to hide.



DISEASE cursed under his breath at all the shots coming from his East, and went through the trees in the opposite direction, surveying the trees around him. At a distance, he noticed something red on the upper branches of a large yew tree. He immediately hid behind the nearest rock, looked at the patch of red long and hard, and then lifted his rifle to aim, directly at ZERO and squeezed the trigger THRICE rapidly!!!!!!

(Zero was looking elsewhere, and the shots caught him by surprise! He fell down into the ground heavily, his body rocked by the shots. He quickly grabbed at his HPs to heal himself.)

Disease nodded once to himself, apparently content with his work, then dropped his rifle to walk into Sector 2 to hide.

(Alkytrio666 sniggered at Zero, suppressing a laugh at watching his red butt get fried, and ZERO frowned at him before sending a bunch of pooh flying at Alky's face!! Take that, Zero thought, as the pooh splattered all over Alky's face and he glared angrily back at the simian)

OOOHHHH - I know whose getting pooh flung at them next round!!

REALDEALBLUES had come across CHRONOGRL at almost the same time as The Villain, so waited till he did his job. As soon as The Villain moved on, he lifted his rifle to aim directly at Chronogrl and fire THRICE quickly!!!!!!!

(Chronogrl moaned once, the shots rocking her body in three new areas. Pulling out her 3 final HPs to heal herself, she glanced at her light HP bag, and was alarmed to see that it was EMPTY!)

Realdealblues then turned around and walked through where he had initially come to proceed into Sector 3 to hide.



STRAKER looked around him nervously, gritting his teeth every time the shots rang through the Zone. He had a fair idea of who the Titans were targetting, but he was wary of something else.

And he had a reason to be wary.

For Ferretchucker lay some distance away from him, nursing his injuries with his HPs.

A sudden twitching sound made Straker look upward, directly into the one good eye of NEMESIS, who glared back from the high branches of the tree, Rocket Launcher at the ready. Straker's eyes widened for an instant, his brain sent a message to his legs to turn around and run, but that instinct froze midway.

The rocket exploded like a nuclear bomb in front of him, sending him flying backwards among wooden debris and shrapnel tearing through his body. He fell heavily near a tree's base, bright-red with numerous wounds opening up. Instant reaction made him reach for his HPs, and after using 20 of them, he was able to breath again.

NEMESIS growled, and disappeared from sight.



SENTINEL65 licked his lips in feverish anticipation, seeing CHRONOGRL all patched up and an empty HP bag beside her, and immediately aimed his rifle at her and fired THRICE blindly!!!!!!!!

(Chronogrl sunk down into the ground as the three new shots shook her body badly. She fell backwards without hope, without life. WEAPON X suddenly appeared from out of nowhere, holding his HP bag. He quickly patched Chronogrl's wounds with 3 of his HPs.)

Sentinel65 looked on at this scene before him, and set his lips grimly. He dropped his rifle in frustration then ran ahead into Sector 2 to hide.


(And now, IMMORTALSLASHER decided to donate ONE HP to CHRONOGRL!)



NEWB waited confidently till the shots stopped ringing out from around him, then with a knowing smile proceeded to his right. He soon came through to the clearing where CHRONOGRL lay, being nursed by Weapon X. At Newb's sight, Weapon X cringed and tried to run, but Newb knew whom he had to target. THREE shots went through immediately!!!!!!!!!

(Chronogrl merely grunted with half-unconscious, sleepy eyes as the shots rang through the Zone, thudding into her worsted body. Weapon X came scurrying back to her, pulled out 3 more of his HPs, and patched her up again. He had definitely rescued her from certain death.)

Newb dropped his rifle, and walked on into Sector 8 to hide.



THE UGLY DUCHESS didn't know where he was. He had run into the Zone but had no clue where to head, so wandered aimlessly, occasionally jumping at the shots being fired somewhere away from him, and two huge blasts coming from his right. By evening, he had wandered into unfamiliar terrain, noticed something, and stopped dead in his tracks.

The sector in which he was in, had no birds. And groaning sounds could be heard coming from immediately ahead of him.

The hairs at the back of his head rising, he had the sudden feeling that he was not alone.

And that was when NEMESIS fired!!!!!

The Duchess caught the full brunt of the exploding rocket, and was thrown away into the bushes, his white costume rapidly turning red in several spots by the sudden gasping wounds all over him! He landed heavily on the ground, and instantly plucked out his HPs to heal himself. 20 HPs later, he finally felt the feeling of fear.

NEMESIS roared, and proceeded back to the Stalker's Nest.


(Weapon X waited till the sounds of the night crept in, and then carried Chronogrl through the trees back to the gates. The Hunt was over.)




I chose randomly for two Hellspawns - alkytrio666 and The Ugly Duchess. Alkytrio666 drew Sector 7, and The Ugly Duchess found himself in Sector 9, the residence of NEMESIS.
