One of the best looking werewolves ever.
That, and I never really liked the howling series.

The AWIL wolf was good. I liked Silver Bullet one too. As far as I'm concerned there was no Howling series, I only like the first. I thought the Howling werewolf (in the scene below) was the most realistic and frightening.

It appears we have a winner! Here were the results:

An American Werewolf in London: 10 (horrorfangirl66, Rela1024, roshiq, V, bamahorrorfan87, The Villain, cheebacheeba, fortunato, Anthropophagus, and newb)

The Howling: 4 (realdealblues, Sculpt, knife_fight, and natedog722)

Howling II: 1 (MichaelMyers)

Thus, An American Werewolf in London is clearly the winner!

Personally, it would have been between An American Werewolf in London and The Howling. Although they are both about werewolves, they approach the material in different ways and thus have their own things that I like. That being said, I would choose The Howling for two reasons. First it stars scream queen Dee Wallace, who delivered a terrific performance. The Second I liked how they referenced various older werewolf movies, similar to what my favorite horror film, Scream, did. Ultimately, it was a hard choice, but The Howling would be my choice.

P.S. The reason it took me so long to publish the results was because of school work and because I have (temporarily) moved out of horror movies and back in to Star Trek. Hopefully, I should still be able to keep on top of this thread, despite my (temporary) interest change.
