saw a documentry on china, japan or some other far easter country........maybe thailand, they hang snakes up by hooking them by the thinest end and they slit all the way down the belly with a knife, to drain off the blood into a glass. People come to drink the blood at bars, which only serve this stuff.

Yeah, Ive heard the snakes blood thing too, they always kill the animal right before, it's meant to help with heart congestion and blood flow problems among other things, and I think I remember seeing that if you drink it, your adrenaline goes absolutely nuts.
...but at least a knife from one end of the body to another would seem a little more humane than the dog thing..
