Yeah I definitely agree with you about that. One of the reasons I like David Lynch's films so much is instead of trying to figure out any sort of implied meanings, I just experience it as it comes; I let Lynch's films move my emotions and thoughts as the film progresses. Afterwards I always have strong feelings I can't completely explain.

Well, I do have a sizable collection of dvd movies (over 300) and the horror ones that I tend to watch over and over (sometimes as background entertainment) are:

30 Days of Night
Stay Alive
Evil Dead (remake)
Cabin in the Woods
The Descent
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (all the newer ones)
28 Weeks Later
Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters
Se7en (though I don't classify this as a horror movie)
Deliver Us From Evil
Interview with a Vampire

There are movie, just can't think of them all right now.
