Aww, thanks! :D I hope you're right. :p Well actually one way or another, I'll be an actress. I may never be famous, but I'm going to an acting school soon and if that gets me nowhere, I'm going to make my own movies.

Arioch 06-06-2004 04:14 PM

Yeah, one of my friends told me someone they knew(or knew of, anyway) made their own movie for about $200...that isn't expensive. :p And the movie actually done well...so it was all worth it to them.

All you really need(other than equipment, of course) is lots of fake blood and people who are willing to help you out. :) I already have a few people who want to be in my movie...and I haven't even finished writing it yet. I do need more girls, though. :o So far me and my mom are the only females that are going to be in it...haha. When the time gets closer, I'll post an ad in the newspaper and get more people...especially girls, hopefully.

thEsounDofdirT 06-08-2004 02:02 AM

girls are definitely the horror champs as far as protagonists go in horror movies go... i think males have kind of dominated the antagonist role... halloween and nightmare on elm st. really fortified that
laurie strode and jamie lloyd vs. michael myers
Nancy and Alice vs. Freddy

although there are some really excellent female antagonists ... like the chicks in the craft ... faruza balk was pretty good in that
.. haha and jason's mom...

Posher778 02-11-2006 08:02 PM

Jamie Lee Curtis ( the OLD jamie lee, from halloween 1 and 2, and not the nonsense crap from the newer stuff. i loved her, and still do. plus... she has one of the best *terror* looks when she needed to in halloween)

2nd place> Neve Campbell. many will disagree, but i've loved her in everything, of course scream 1 being the best. she's promising for a movie not meant to be really scary but more just for fun, and she pulls through perfectly. Plus she's funny as shit at the end of scream 3 ( " why don't you just stop your whining you stupid SICK MOTHER FUCKER!!!..... FUCK YOUUUUUU!"

and third> sigourney weaver, only for alien 1. she is amazing at being completely terrified, especially at the end of alien.

male> roy scheider and robert englund.

Craven_Fan 03-13-2006 07:43 PM

Robert Englund
Jamie Lee Curtis
Janet Leigh
Boris Karloff
Vincent Price

sinistar 03-13-2006 08:38 PM

I don't think I have any favorites. Whoever gets the job done, really.
Although as in the previous post, Vincent Price and Karloff are kinda staples.
