Pretty cool top 100, don't fully agree tho.

The Villain 06-26-2011 05:15 AM

Good list. I agree on the participants but not exactly the order.

leezuki 07-19-2011 04:30 AM

Nicely done with the pictures! I still can't get into Jeepers Creepers, after all these years..

I don't care for it myself.

Its not a classic or anything but i enjoyed it

Certainly a more reasonable list than the Top 100 films.

That said I don't think aliens and sharks qualify as movie "villains."

Additionally, Barney Cousins / Raymond Lemorne from "The Vanishing" films are conspicuously absent. I'd think evil that cold and calculated would make the Top 25.

Good to know. Thanks.

Cool list, my only regret is that I wasn't here when the list was created. It must've been fun doing this.

Like FM, it's a bit disappointing that Pumpkinhead wasn't included but that's ok.

Freebird1972 05-10-2012 10:58 PM

Can't believe Jason was as far down as 67 lol

skuzzles 05-16-2012 01:30 PM

Great list! It's hard to put the Universal Monsters (Dracula, Franken, Mummy, etc.) anywhere but the top with the amount of influence and number of movies they've influenced. I agree Jason should be a bit higher as well.

BmovieScreamQueen 05-31-2012 04:33 AM

Amazing list! So glad to see my favourites up there too!:)

LifeLiquid 07-12-2012 07:51 PM

Very good list although I probably would've ranked Freddy Kruger top 3

Michael-Myers 09-02-2012 01:37 AM

Just went through this page for the first time, great list! However I definitely think Buffalo Bill should be on there. Also I don't think I saw the leprechaun either.

InfernusChickx 09-24-2012 09:31 AM

I tell you who I like too! The tick tock wind up man off Hellboy....he's rather cool!

InfernusChickx 10-01-2012 08:49 AM

oooh and for cuteness I love Sam from the Trick or Treat movie x

jack_wallen 10-21-2012 01:48 PM

I was so happy to see Godzilla in the list. I grew up with that big green lizard. ;-) Great list!!!!

Shannon Michaels 12-08-2012 07:24 AM

Awesome list! Ever movie monster that scared the hell from me when I was kid made this list.

More Than Horror 05-10-2013 12:09 AM

#100!!!

Wow - I love these top 100. I thought I was a huge horror fan, puts me to shame to see so many I don't know. but...#100 Marie "High Tension" Awe...my favorite. You HAVE to love her. Very glad to see she made the list.

Souldapop 07-04-2013 05:54 AM

This list is quite the accomplishment. I'm kind of disappointed that Samael from Farmhouse isn't on the list but I'm not surprised either. At least Patrick Bateman made the top 50.
"You like Hewie Lous and the News?"

Great list! Glad to see Ginger, May & Mrs. Carmody on there :D

LuvablePsycho 04-27-2018 09:41 AM

A lot of good choices (and many of these movies I've never even heard of lol). But there are some I would have liked to see on the list like Tiffany from Bride of Chucky, Captain Rhodes from Day of the Dead, Karen Cooper from Night of the Living Dead, Isaac and Malachi from Children of the Corn, the dog from Cujo, and the monster from Pumpkinhead. Oh and maybe Trash from The Return of the Living Dead.

TaeKwonZombie 12-02-2020 01:25 PM

Nice to see May Dove Canady (May). ::big grin::

Yeah, Tenebre villain is pretty obscure. Lot's of seemingly obscure... like Alex (The House On The Edge Of The Park) at 44, Mrs. Vera "Mum" Cosgrove (Dead Alive) at 43, Kai San (Ebola Syndrome) at 33, Albert Spica (The Cook The Thief His Wife & Her Lover) at 26, over some villains like Baron Victor Frankenstein and Gojira. Looked like it was a fun to put together!

TaeKwonZombie 12-05-2020 05:06 PM

The Cook the thief the wife and her lover is one of my favorite films,.... soundtrack, cinematography, the cast, the story, the drama, the sets, everything, movies a masterpiece....
