white zombie has been getting re-produced like crazy recently i myself have bought two copies of it. I havnt seen it on a single movie disk type thing its usually paired with somthing like the devil bat which is also a good movie.

Okay, I don't get this.Resident Evil was about a man made virus and people consider it a zombie movie.In Return Of The Living Dead zombies are created by an army biological weapon-probably a type of virus(although they did rise from the ground).What makes 28 Days Later any different?I realize none of the zombies rose from the grave-but what the fuck else would you call it?Hell,the new DOTD didn't have anything come out of the ground-does that mean its not a zombie movie?

It ain't a zombie movie cause the "infected" are NOT DEAD.

They die like normal people.....and do NOT rise from the dead.

People didn't have to be dead to be infected in ROTLD or Resident Evil.

Yes and no. in ROTLD, the virus can bring people back from the dead as zombies...same with Resident Evil (some are dead first)

But the virus in 28 Days Later only affects the living..and it cannot bring the dead back to "life".....

I mean isn't the definition of "Zombie" the dead returning to life? At least in general terms?

Sorry,I just can't agree,I realize the 28DL infected were not traditional zombies,but I do consider it a semi-new spin on the living dead.

Gotta go with carnage on this one. When Frank and Freddy [ in ROTLD ]opened the canister and the fumes overtook them,thats when they actually died. Then they came back [ which would account for the rigor mortus and blood pooling.] In 28 days nobody died, they were just infected. If they were killed, they stayed dead.

Exactly. I guess the classic definition of "zombie" is the "living dead". (ie Night of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead, etc)

If the person is not dead yet, then they quite literially cannot be the LIVING dead...they are just the living.

Side Note: Why didn't the infected attack other infected? Odd.

hmmmm...Very good question. You would think if these people were infected with the "Rage" then they wouldn't differentiate between normal folk and infected ones. They would lash out at anybody. Now I must go into a corner and ponder.

Evil Dead I and II. Deadites, zombies, same thing. Vesus is pretty good and then of course you have the classics everyone in here has already mentioned. >.>; No point in me repeating...even if I probably already have...skipped like two pages of this thread.

OK....after pondering and much soul searching, this is what I came up with.
Belly button lint mixed with sweat is pliable. Sure....its not silly putty.....but it can be shaped.

I see Versus has come up a few times. Good movie.....WAY over the top.[ thats not a bad thing ] The only complaint is the head thug. He was soooo fucking annoying, almost ruined it for me.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion and others should respect that. I think that Resident Evil is a good movie. There isn't anything wrong with it.
