I'm ready to roll. On to Seattle, and then to England. Ferret, do you have a region free DVD player? I want to pile a couple of copies of Exorcist III in to pass to the masses, but it won't do any good if you can't watch it.

I think I have. And if it isn't, will it work on my Xbox 360? Oh well, send them, I'll test them out and if they fail, I'll send them on.

You can usually hack your dvd player with a simple code and make it region free. I'll point you to the codes if you end up needing them.

Thanks, Des. You've facilitated my campaign to make sure every horror fan has watched Exorcist III.

LOL

I'll be expecting my copy when the package gets back to me. :D

roshiq 02-20-2009 09:25 PM

Very sorry for the delay. I was bit busy for the last 1 & half week, moreover there's been some ridiculous 'item restrictions' problem I have came to know from different postal services (like..you can't send more than 1 dvd or you have to take permission from export-import authority...bla bla bla!). Anyway, now it's been fine and I have already posted the package (along with my limited contribution:o ) through DHL for our next recipient...Flayed One at Seattle.
There are some other 'junk' items too along with the dvds though they are few in numbers. :D

Though I first planned to send 10 dvds but they allowed me up to 5 which is the highest number they offered for dvds comparing to the other available postal services here. Anyway, one of the dvds is "8 in 1 movie collection" which I hope you'll like;).

You know you don't have to tell them what's really in the package...

ChronoGrl 03-28-2009 03:39 PM

Chrono if you are doing a second package, I would be down with that too. :)

If you're interested, the list for Package 2.0 is:
1. Roshiq (Bangladesh)
2. Flayed (US) <--- (Currently in Flayed's paws)
3. Ferret (England)
4. Return (Canada)
5. Missmacabre (Canada)
6. ME (US)

HOWEVER - The intent of this package was never to replace the first one, so don't let this one usurp the original. I don't want to step on any toes.

If you DO want to join in, you can get it after Missmacabre, so the list would be:
1. Roshiq (Bangladesh)
2. Flayed (US) <--- (Currently in Flayed's paws)
3. Ferret (England)
4. Return (Canada)
5. Missmacabre (Canada)
6. Papillon Noir (US)
7. Me (US)

If that works for you, please confirm with a PM to MM and I. :)

I keep putting off sending the package for a few reasons.

One, money is a little tight.

Two,its gonna cost alot to send it overseas.

Three, there is no UPS or FedEx place near me.

But I'm working on it.I'll update in a few days when are internet is back.I'm at the public library right now using there computers. It's sad.

Paul the Monk 08-14-2009 10:08 AM

You wanna be careful whats in it if its going ot the UK. Customs there can still be a bitch.

Disease 08-14-2009 12:25 PM

I got some Pies sent to me in the U.K from Australia, these great vegie pies from my fave bakery in Australia, my mate just wrote "nik naks" as the content....

But the address I gave Freak is o good now anyway, as I'm heading back to Australia in 10 days.... so ... I am no longer wanting a package, I think it was my turn about a year and a half ago...

roshiq 08-14-2009 09:42 PM

Before deciding to involve in this 'Package' event I think we already knew or had a idea that there would be a cost factor involved regarding the shipping & handling purpose. I sent the package via DHL and according to our currency it costs a hell lot of amount than I thought it'd be. But I didn't bother it all cause I was happily obligated to do that as I gave my word to sent the package to the next recipient.

There it is right there. If these packages EVER get moving again and you are on the list but a bit on the irresponsible side....take your name off the list. It's not fair to the rest of the fine people of HDC.

bloody_ribcut 08-15-2009 09:29 AM

i already said (a long time ago) i would like to participate. only if its being shipped to another statesman, international shipping priority is like forty dollars(no way)...most likely more than what in the box. oh, and i'll ship quick because i AM cool, and i wont eat it.
