Pop in some videos of him for a spin then.

Anyway the tickets were sold out? Would have been kickass - Halloween night with Alice Cooper.

I've been trying all week...nothing but mezzanine way in the back...fucking dope I am.

I just saw him two years ago...he played with Dio's Sabbath and Queensryche. He puts on a hell of a show.

I do have a few DVD concerts of his...I will be playing them tonight....while I cry in my beer

I saw him in concert couple years back too. Really kickass jammer...I remember the people watching were going hoarse from all that screaming.

Queensryche...that the Washington band? They had some great guitar tracks. Havent heard em in a long while.

Happy Halloween!! Thanks Neverending I loved your website!! Do you do it all year or just during october? Those are true HALLOWEEN songs and thats what I like to hear!

neverending 11-01-2008 09:44 AM

I run one station all year. During October I turn it into a Halloween station and add two companion stations.

Zero 11-01-2008 09:45 AM

better now - ate some toast (only toast -oh god only toast). don't remember everything from last night but do recall posting on hdc at around 3:30am (which i checked and was actually coherent - shocking).

i've been off-line because i was basically asked to leave for awhile (i guess i was being 'too political' - which is odd since it is only a few days before a major election). anyway, i'm not one to stay around and cause trouble. (plus the place has been filled with some odd new folks that i don't really have anything to say to - but i guess that's what getting old is all about).

i did wear some vague 'zombie' make up with some latex and blood effect and, of course, woke up with it smeared all over my couch (didn't make it to actual bed) and my clothes. i'll be scrubbing my couch for weeks. ughh.

anyway - happy all saints day to all hdc. i'll try to creep around every once in awhile (and not be too political for those too sensitive to hear someone else's opinion).

z

neverending 11-01-2008 09:48 AM

Oh man- you party hard!

Zero 11-01-2008 09:56 AM

no - i'm just getting old and my 'mind' still thinks my 'body' can behave like a 20 year old and then the morning comes and i recognize the error of my ways.

i'm just sorry i missed the show - whatever happened to the call in show that gore was doing - i always meant to call in and always loved hearing people's acutal voices

Who said that?

I want names, redhead. Then I ll get my sword and lop off their heads. NOBODY tells anyone else to leave off here (either basically or direct), especially to one of the most respected and well-loved members.

If you have a point of view, fine. So do others. People need to learn to respect other people's opinions, unless its a total bullshitty thing. And specially in matters of politics and religion, every one in this world has a mouth and an asshole. I know you ll get what I am driving at.

From now on, you wont leave. Ever. I hate missing you.

Oh, Happy Halloween and Happy All Saints. And welcome back.

Zero 11-01-2008 10:06 AM

i'll admit i was probably being overly sensitive and at first i just was going to drop out for a few days but then couldn't get around to checking back in and when i did log on there were weird people having odd conversations.

i remember when i moved back to the US after a year in the UK. i dropped into my old coffehouse hangout and everyone there was someone new - i went a few times but then just stopped going because the place had basically moved on without me. so, on the one hand i agree that the old guard (you, Newb, Rayne, Austin and others - maybe even me [god help us all]) need to give hte place continuity, on the other hand for an old timer like me sometimes this place feels very unfamiliar.

neverending 11-01-2008 10:15 AM

Well, things are settling down a bit... stick around- we miss you!

Zero 11-01-2008 10:17 AM

i miss me too - -- uh, oh wait, i mean i miss you too!

(actually - i always thought you didn't like me - funny huh?)

Well guess what. I know EXACTLY what you are driving at.

I decided to take a break for a vacation early October, and come back to see all these new members with 400-500 posts already in a month or two, yapping away in each and every thread. It suddenly became a strange place for me too...till I found out whats been happening.

The older members, suddenly, have either started posting very less, or none at all. Urgeok is a case in point. He's gone. Newb has become very sporadic, as has Elvis and MD. I dont know what happened in the few weeks I was off here (using my laptop to update the tourneys), but I am guessing these newbies got on the older ones nerves, especially Urge.

It is a passing phase. Soon, it will pass. They will get bored of the place and move on (hopefully), and our older members will start turning up again. Stick around till then. You are much missed, and very needed.

Zero 11-01-2008 10:23 AM

HAVE NO FEAR! The monkey of death is back! All will be normal soon. (oh and i think you would dig this british show "No Heroics" - i posted a thing about it in the TV forum and i don't mean to sound like spam but i LOVED this show so much i feel like stopping people on the streets and telling them to watch)

The Mothman 11-01-2008 10:43 AM

So what did everyone do last night?
i threw on an army jacket and a bandanna and went as a half assed John Rambo, then partied way too hard and spent 4 hours in a bathroom puking my guts out.

Sounds like a fun night lol. I went trick or treating with my kid then watched scary movies all night.

Yeh. There have been a few arguments, a few people getting on others nerves and a LOT of posting from New members. I don't know if it's because I was here through it all and eased into it but it's all pretty much back to normal now. It should feel that way within a couple of weeks. And hey, it's a few more people for the Encyclopedia!

Zero 11-01-2008 12:39 PM

who is this young 'ferret' newbie? let's flame him mercilessly like in the good old days.
