The broken, "...of the Dead", Dread and a tale of little red riding hood look pretty decent. The rest look, to put it quite frankly, hilariously bad.

All three of these look pretty cool, I wonder if the Skeleton Crew has anything to do with the Stephen King book or short stories. It doesn't look like it though.

I didn't know they were remaking Long Weekend. Don't think I'll bother watching it... but maybe it'll be kinda cool seeing it played out by American characters being ugly, selfish and brash.

Yeah, and tell me that the Silk Spectre(daughter) doesn't look hot. I'm totally pissed that they are fucking over the actual ending until the DVD release. They should just stick with the story and leave it at that. Thats why I still have not seen Wanted.

I'm rather intrigued to see what they do with the ending...Snyder has been staying disturbingly faithful otherwise from anything I've read, so I'm sure it'll still be a badass ending. Wont be as perfect as the real ending I'm sure...but still.

As for Wanted, I'll probably check it out now that its on DVD. I wasn't too crazy about the book - I really, really enjoyed it, but it didn't really blow my mind or anything - and even though it look 100% different, I still think the movie looks like solid entertainment. Sue me.

Back on topic, I heard that they are going to be doing the Pirate comic with animation instead of live action. I think thats going to go over pretty well. But I'm wondering if they are going to cut out the thing about the little girl and the dogs.

I'd never actually heard of watchmen before people started talking about it on here, but from those posters it does look cool. Really cool. What rating is it set to get?

The closer it gets to Watchmen release date, the more nervous I am about them butchering it. I was so excited when all I saw was the first poster but I know they changed the way the "world ends", and I heard they killed off someone different in the end. If they can properly replace the giant creature that's fine by me but what happens in the last bit of the movie should stay the same as the last few pages of the comic. They have to cement you love/hate relationship with the character in question. I think I summed that up pretty well without spoiling anything for those who haven't read the comic yet.

except that I only said the world ends. If you read the book they tell you that before it happens and there isn't anything before they say that, that depends on the fact. I just didn't want to say how. Also, people die through the whole book starting at page one. I don't think anyone would be surprised that someone days in climactic manner.
