Anyway...A LOT has been going on

The baby is always the biggest part of it...He'll be 2 in a couple of months, but he's been going through the terrible twos stage for about 6 months now, and it probably won't stop till he's FIVE

Some updates:

Seri got a new piercing today...She'll be putting a lip ring in it as soon as possible...She's loving her job at Citibank, and about 4 of the guys who work there have a crush on her...HaHa

Ash got a portable laptop-type DVD player so he can carry Aqua Teens around the house with him now

Alex will be 13 in 4 weeks...He's looking forward to it...I'm not sure I am

Any free time that Dustin and I have (when the baby FINALLY goes to sleep) is spent playing on Gaiaonline.com...He sits beside me on his computer and we go fishing together, play slots, do puzzles, walk through towns collecting bugs to make ink for tattoos, digging up flowers, and picking up garbage...I know it sounds weird, but you just have to see for yourself...Seri convinced us to join...By 'convinced' I mean she created an account for me and one for Alex...haha...I persuaded Dustin to join us, too...By 'persuaded', I mean I told him to do it

Hmm...What else?

As we prepared to drain the pool, we discovered that squirrels apparently can't swim...That was interesting...On a related note, the garbage man obviously has no problem accepting wet squirrels...Kinda raised a few questions around here, like "Have you EVER seen a soaking wet squirrel's tail?"...It just looks like a cat's tail when it isn't all fuzzy...Random, I know, but I had just at that point realized that I had NEVER seen a wet squirrel...I guess they hate water...Maybe because it kills them

As Zwoti pointed out, I DID sign into MySpace on (umm, I forgot what day it was...) Thursday?...But, I didn't even get a chance to check my messages because the baby woke up, I DID manage to send a brief "Are you available?" to Zwoti on Yahoo, but didn't receive a response...I also hadn't had a chance to check my eMail or Yahoo until just now...And DAMMIT, I just realized that I STILL haven't read my MySpace messages...But, the other day, I did see that there was something there from Illdojo (Thanks Sweetie, I'll get to that as soon as I can)

I don't have a home phone at the moment, because the baby decided to take it completely apart, and we still haven't found all the pieces...And, I had NO idea that a simple answering machine could be separated into so many parts

But, I can still be reached on my cell...I just don't check it very often...I usually keep it plugged into the outlet in the bedroom (like right now) if I'm not leaving the house

Well, I can't really think of anything else...Yeah my life is REALLY boring...Hmm, how can so much 'busy-ness' be so damned boring?...Oh well

OH...About the HDC Live thing...I've personally decided that it was a bad idea...If it is too difficult to make it exclusive to forum members, I'm concerned that people who are not familiar with our forum and the way we do things here, may get the wrong impression...We certainly do NOT need to attract the types of idiots and assholes that we've have had to deal with here before...It's been quite pleasant, and it would be nice to see it stay that way...

One particular example I'm thinking of as I'm typing this would be impersonating an officer and waking people up in the middle of the night to 'mess with them' and/or telling people that their relatives have been in a serious accident...Which of course, is not a problem on your OWN 'show' if you aren't concerned about the possible legal repercussions (is that 'rePER' or 'rePRE'?...Hmm)...But, I don't think it's fair to link that type of behavior with our forum, and put our collective 'name' on it...Not all of us participated, but it definitely does reflect on all of us...Whenever you say 'HDC', you are referring to every member here...And as one of those members, I PERSONALLY don't want to have to deal with whatever fallout may be produced by that sort of thing

It's just like MySpace except that it's Anime based, and you create a character that looks like you (or whatever you want it to look like), and you play games, furnish your house, fix up your car (you can enter your characters, homes, and vehicles in contests, too if you think they're really good)...Every game has a chat, and when you're walking around towns (or hanging out at the pool) there's a chatbox there, too

There's also a forum, but it's pretty shitty because there are about 5 million people on Gaia, however there is a whole forum (called 'Chatterbox') that's made for the sole purpose of either bumping threads, or spouting random crap (just be careful not to get yourself banned, because you'll lose all your gold)...

Basicly...It's a game to make as much money as you can, to amass stuff...and you can also hang out with friends, meet new people, customize your profile, write blogs, blah, blah, blah

I make most of MY money playing the market...It's just like eBay, but you don't lose any REAL money, just your Gaia gold that you have earned...Buy low, sell high ;)

Yeah, it's pretty complicated at first...It took me about a week to figure it all out...Dustin just saw you in his slots room :D

The first thing you should do is click on 'my gaia' then go down to 'quests' and do your new member quest...It doesn't take very long, it will help you figure some things out...AND it will give you stuff :)

OH, and it doesn't tell you when you have a new comment, so you have to check your profile from time to time

But, it DOES let you know when you have a new message or friend request

You start out with a house and car for free, then you add a bunch of stuff to them, you can upgrade your house to make it bigger, too
