Xp is excellent but I still wanna get vista. But then that's human nature. What you havent got, you want.

What's the big deal with Vista?

I loves me XP and sticking with it!

I've heard that alot of applications that we use regularly arent compatible with Vista - lots of glitches and stuff! <-- just hearsay I hasten to add (it depends how pc literate one is, I suppose!!).

stubbornforgey 05-03-2007 05:51 AM

vista will be soon installed in all new comps..
we are doomed.
I find many programmes arenot compatible with vista so theres a lot of searching to do once it is installed. not to mention the d.loading or the forever purchasing off add'ons.

ferretchucker 05-03-2007 05:52 AM

and every single windows so far comes with a new kind of virus you have to pay £50 to get rid of.

I've always been under the impression that we install our own OS systems, regardless if a new package includes the latest OS. So.....you surely have the choice whether to have Vista or not - personally, I'd remove it and put me own OS on!

Papillon Noir 05-03-2007 06:09 AM

Ferret--

I'm pretty sure mine is running on XP. Vista is pretty though, but I'm not sure how well it actually runs.

Nova--

I like your desktop, it's very serene.

I can't stand mexican wrestling

bwind22 05-03-2007 07:46 AM

Vista hasn't given me many problems. Initially it was a little confusing, but once I got everything wired and downloaded right, it's been smooth sailing ever since. Extremely minimal popups too.

@ newb, you are playing Far Cry and Stalker at the same time? I thought you might have finished Far Cry by now...

That would be QUITE a headache alright...

I finished Far Cry ages ago.....I just loaded in the new machine so I can play some deathmatch with my son on the other computer. [ he kicks my ass every time:mad: ]

Ok.

DO NOT GET VISTA. It's horrible for the lamest of things.

Below is a conversation with me and vista. My replies are in **
"Omg, like... u wanna go on the internet? Lolzorz! There's like... internet on the internet! Teehee, would you like this action to continue? *yes* Would you like this action of this action to continue? *YES* Would you like to register for 6524365962956946 windows vista related things that will seemingly aid you? *no* WHY NOT? *cause* Hmm? cause you say? VIRUS! automatic 4625947569476596945692469569 hour scan, please get off the comp for that time, then come back, restart, restart 4627635 more times to make sure it worked, and then run virus scan again to make sure that none of the programs were damaged. Do you LIKE vista? I think i'm just gonna randomly not let right click work... mmmmk? OTAY! (EXPLODES)
