Dave Lombardo can drum circles around Joey for hours without breaking a sweat.

And any person with Carpal Tunnel and a bad case of Arthritis can play guitar better than Joey.

I...am not one of those people.....i need a bit more in music than gimmickry, muddy muted basic guitar riffs, and constant droning double bass:rolleyes: but hey, thats just me.....

i have to agree here he learns double bass and does a roll then thinks if he uses it in every song it will be good. and i cant say much about his guitar skills because i never listened to murder dolls much. but ill take your word for it.

Slipknot is an ass sandwich,they even beat ICP on the gayness meter.

well in my opinion i would have to say icp blows dogs for quarters compaired to slipknot. i dont like slipknot but i hate icp more

I've spent the last two minutes reading this thread, and I still agree with this person.

I don't hate Slipknot, though. I like them the same way I like Britney Spears--catchy, but nothing I'm wasting time contemplating on their "depth and true musical abilities." And the fact they produce the same music with 8 or 9 (I can't remember which, and I read it on one of these posts like 5 seconds ago) musicians as a band with 4 could makes them really laughable.

Just because everyone has a different taste doesn't mean their taste is good.

Solo's? Slipknot cannot do solo's, nor should they try like they did on this one. I see they're putting in more percussion now to drown out Corey's retarded lyrics and cum guzzled vocals. And now I know I'm not a Slipknot fan, but when did they start doing acoustic songs? I thought this was Slipknot, not Stone Sour.

Yeah, Corey's not trying to sell Slipknot out, but when you think about it, he probably realized all the radio play Stone Sour was getting after that stupid ass song "Bother", and decided to tone down Slipknot from shitty, to shittier.

Slipknot can kiss my white ass. Their masks are really lame. They sing like girls while its supposed to be "metal." And on top of all that the drums overdo everything else i the band. what do they have 23 drum players? And they suck ass at making music.

What does everyone think of the "ballady" stuff on the new album??? Not a bad attempt in my book. Don't worry, their live shows havent slowed down at all. They dont all sit down with acoustic guitars and tambourines. Now that would be real horror.......:eek: :eek: :eek:

I like their first album the best. I know so many people that hate this band, but I think their a lot better then some of the other Nu metal bands out there. I saw them live twice and they put on a good show. This is coming from a person who likes Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, and Megadeth. I have no problem with people hating this band. There are plenty of bands that I hate too. To each his own. On another message board that I belong to, they call this band Slipsh*t.
