I don't know any details, I just remember reading that the rights were bought to do an american version of OldBoy. I was hoping that maybe some of you would know about this. It may still be in pre-production if they are going through with it.

Well, Park said he doesn't mind seeing his or other movies remade as long as they add something and not just remake it using American actors and locations. Too bad that's what's most likely going to happen.

Shit. HAHA well in that case, I've seen thai- the eye (I plan on seeing the American eye 2) & Unborn. Korean- Phone. Japanese- juon & ringu.

Sidenote: When I read the title dark Water, that made me think Open Water. That is the LAMEST movie ever.

I wasn't a very big fan of Oldboy. It was alright, but nothing great for me. An American remake of Battle Royale will, no doubt, be considerably tamer & that will take away alot of the impact the original had.
