i hadnt realised until today that the dude that i hated in hostel...and there were many cuz they all deserved to die was the nice dude from crazy/beautiful.....wonders how a persons character can make them attractive

i seriously could have done without the naked girls, like most people have said. if that was taken out and more things like the ending added to the movie, it would have been a lot better. i cant believe they are making a second one.. hopefully its better than the first.

I don't understand why so many people on this site DO NOT like Cabin Fever or Hostel. Old school horror movies are DEAD in my eye's. We are stuck with these new school horror movies. No one is ever going to make another Halloween or Chainsaw. That is why there are so many REMAKES. 70's and 80's horror is what I grew up watching and love. I just like it when someone gives a new horror movie that old school feel..... Just my 2 cents.:cool:

The main problem I had with Hostel is the charecters... I just couldn't bring myself to care wheather or not they got killed.
They weren't likeable somehow. It was just 'yeah, you're dead; next!'

why does everyone hate Eli Roth? 2001 Maniacs was awesome, Cabin Fever was awesome, Hostel was awesome. I own all three of those because I think Eli Roth is great. What is there to not like about the films he directs?

they are taking the piss now the first was was the worst thing i have ever seen no gore no horror and just plain boring nothing happened the best bit was when the credit rolls so how they think a second one will be any better i dont know

It may not have been scary but it had a decent amount of gore, especially for a maintsream movie. What do you consider gory?

the first one did have gore, but it was just like a small part of the movie.
i hated that movie. it was basically a porno. not what i was expecting.

I loved Hostel, nothing better than a bunch of Americans getting turned into mince meat while on vacation. I went to buy an ex-rental copy today but they had sold them all so I just hired it again.

Its about some teens who car breaks down in some ufo area they go to visit or something and some guys offers to tow them and help them and brings them back to his place. They eat, drink hang out at the camp fire etc and then wake to not so good things going on. I won't spoil it anymore if you decide to see it.

Wrong Turn was very similar to Wolf Creek, I didn't like that one either. It was worst than Wolf Creek.

OK just finished watching Hostel and I mean just lol

Was not all that keen. The start had me thrown for a bit thought I was watching the wrong film lol. However it made sense to the rest of the film I think. I thought the gore was ok not the best but well ok lol. Didnt scare me or gross me out (not that much does atm lol) but an ok film perhapes wont watch it again but will probably see the second one.

Havent read about the second one or seen trailer might do so now. However I would like to see how they ended up their female victims.

This one ought to be really goofy and fun. I know Joe, the director and he's a fuckin' freak. He's just finishing the post on this one and it should be on DVD very soon.

I didnt think Hostel was THAT bad...ok, the eye gouging scene was a bit of a joke, but besides that it was ok. Nice birds and some good torture mixed around in there, I've seen much worse...For instance, most of the cheaply homemade shite you find in Blockbuster horror section.

It should have been either a flip disc, or a 2 disc set...The 45 minute porno and the half hour horror movie should have been seperated...That way I could have just watched the horror movie (which was EXCELLENT, in my opinion)...The porno sucked, But I'm not into porn...so...

I'm just hoping the second one is a horror movie...From beginning to end...That probably won't happen...
