I actually prefer that. I usually add a little note whenever I edit anyway.

Oh, and for the record I really have no problem with the new design. The 10 character thing is kind of annoying, but otherwise I actually like the new look.

It'll take some getting used to of course, but overall it's not too bad.

Well, in all fairness, when "Day of the Dead" originally came out, I was annoyed by the font/lettering used for the opening credits. It looked like it was trying too hard to be modern and stylish, with the italics...

But you know, 10 years later I looked at those same credits and they looked fine.

I would like a hot dog and some beer, please. And some pretzels.....

I'm cool with the new design as well. It will take some getting used to, as was stated. Once all of the kinks get worked out, all will be well in the land. As for the "edit" situation, if I need to explain my edit I will, otherwise, I may just put funny little absurditities in there instead. As you said, sometimes, one needs to explain why they've editted a post, but usually, I'll edit a post due to a typo, so that's when I'll use a smart-ass remark... just for funzies.

I just discovered the 2nd element of this new layout that I don't like. We no longer are able to search the forums by keyword.

(The 1st is that people's post seem to run right in to their signatures. That line dividing the two needs to extend across the page.)

What I don't like is that you have to have a certain amount of characters in a post, I'm sure this wasn't the case before, It's happened to me twice in the last few days.

This didn't happen before did it? I;m starting to get confused and accept the new format, starting to forget, maybe it's just like dvd's and vhs, you can't tell the difference until you go back............
