Bow Wow Wow: 2/10. Manufactured bands suck.

the pistols were a manufactured band .. they rocked !

Frankie Goes to Hollywood were a manufactured band - they put out a killer album (the follow up wasnt bad either)


Bow Wow Wow never grabbed me too hard but they had some good tunes ..

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Heh heh. I do not like the Pistols at all, but you know, to each his own. I understand their importance as a band, but their music has always seemed lackluster to me. For first wave Britpunk, the Damned and the Buzzcocks do it much better, for me.

I can't deny that John Lydon, at least, is talented, though. Public Image Ltd. were a great band.

ps .. i'm a huge Buzzcocks fan - but there is no way of comparing the 2 bands - they each had their own unique energy.

all i can say about the pistols is for years i blew them off because of the hype ..

then i heard bullocks and it knocked my socks off ...
solid perfect album (for me)

still love it as much today as i did then ..

Puscifer

Amazing fucking band. They injected depravity and death into the scene. Along with Sabbath they are perhaps one of the most important things to happen in music. Really turned music upside down..... and spawned a bunch of great bands.

Are they one of those bands you can't find their cd at a local store, or are they pretty popular?

Yep. Should be easy enough to order in. Most of the big stores over here carry their stuff. There's some nifty coloured vinyl editions that were brought out not to long ago if your down with spining the black circle.
