You can check out Glitter.

I'm REALLY diggin on the love Christian Bale is getting. Since American Psycho, he's been my second favorite actor next to Johnny Depp.

I'll add Uma to my list to go along with Milla. There are a lot of actresses I like, especially Nicole Kidman, but there's just a lot of movies most of them have been in that I wouldn't watch even though they are in it.

Charlize Theron comes close, too. If Kate Beckinsale would play a vampire wearing tight leather in every movie, she'd be right up there!:D

jenna26 02-21-2006 10:16 AM

Oh and:

Bruce Campbell
Jeffrey Combs

I can't believe I forgot to add these two considering the sheer amount of crap I have watched just because one or the other was in it.....:D

filmmaker2 02-21-2006 12:40 PM

Well, it looks to me like not enough people know the John Ashley. He starred in a lot of beach party movies in the early 60's, and in the late 60's and early 70's he was a chick-loving, monster-fighting he-man in Filipino classics like...

"Mad Doctor of Blood Island"
"Beast of Blood"
and
"Brides of Blood"

He made fighting monsters cool and hip. Here's to John Ashley--he was Bruce Campbell BEFORE Bruce Campbell!

Katie Holmes. I dont think Ive seen her in anything other than Batman Begins...she was good looking, but definatly not a great actress.

Posher778 02-21-2006 01:01 PM

i disagree. i admit the semi gothic role she played wasn't the best idea, i think she could do better though.

The Mothman 02-21-2006 03:54 PM

Ian McColluch
Star of Zombie, Zombie Holocaust, and Contamination.

filmmaker2 02-21-2006 06:50 PM

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, my favorite recently-emerged actor...been around a few years, and has been dynamite in every movie I've seen him in...including "From Hell," "Deep Rising," "Bruiser," "Below," "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" and others...an actor so good he generally disappears into the role he is playing, assuming a totally new face each time.........

Jason Flemyng!

The STE 02-21-2006 07:56 PM

Christian Bale
Jennifer Connelly

Kilmer as Gay Perry in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, alongside Robert Downey Jr. is superb. I don't watch many comedies, as most of them never make me laugh... but this film is great.

While there have been several actors mentioned whom I think are brilliant, I don't watch films based on them being part of it.

I loved Nicolas Cage when I first saw his performance in Vampire's Kiss (I think), Leaving Las Vegas, etc. But he's made plenty of questionable choices recently like Gone in 60 Seconds and National Treasure, just to name a few.

Have gotten over the "I'm definitely NOT going to miss this movie because - is in it!" phase.

But if I really had to name names...I can only think of two:

Vincent Price
Klaus Kinski

Before I made my choices, I made sure that none of the people I mentioned were in movies that I simply would NOT watch, even though I really like some other people...

I love Geena Davis...I would watch (and have watched) Transylvania 6-5000, Beetlejuice, The Fly, Long Kiss Goodnight, and others like those that she was in...However, I would NEVER foster any desire to watch anything like Thelma And Louise, so I didn't mention her...

I DID however watch Menno's Mind and play the game 'Broken Helix' only because Bruce Campbell was in them, and I enjoyed them both...So, I figure I can trust him to be in things that I like:cool:

he makes no bones about it either ..

he said he's an actor .. his job is to act ... be it in a fine piece of european art - or the lowest piece of shit..

i kind of admire that in a way .. at least he isnt pissy about it..

bloodrayne 02-26-2006 04:21 PM

Steve Railsback

Michaels Shape 03-26-2006 01:13 AM
