Nana_Baby,I'm also an outcast, and that's not always a bad thing. I am the only goth person in this town with a population of about 4,000. At least I don't have to worry about impressing everyone. :D People cower at my "creepiness" as they call it.

And about the poem, I'd say go with Filmmaker2's advice. It doesn't need to rhyme the entire poem, just parts. And also, try not rhyming right after what you just wrote, rhyme like every other line. Just a thought.

Poetic mastery takes a lot of practice and even more rejections. Believe me. I've been writing poetry since I was in 4th grade. So poems I've written have been outstanding, some have sucked ass. It helps to read poetry often. Read contemporary poets to poets of bygone days.

Also, like I say, try free verse, non-rhyming poetry. Also, find your beat. Poems have to have rhythm, and they have to flow. Find your rythm. Everyone's rhythm is different, like a finger print.

i go to Carlynton Jr/Sr High School, life is ok sometimes i need a friend to just give me a hug and say it will be ok even if its not loljk i got to Parkway West for business technology/accounting which takes three periods than i go back to carlynton and take like 20 minutes of gym, then go to lunch, then have biology for 6th period and then 7th ill have study hall unless i have chorus, which is on mondays and wednesdays. i have study hall on tuesdays, thursdays, and fridays. 8th period is english. then we get out around 2:07 in the afternoon and then i get home around 2:30. i have brown hair, grey eyes, and i wear glasses and my room is in the attic so im gonna die for a tornado lol jk. so what about u? do u think im crazy?

First Of all I dont think your crazy at all.

I Go to Penns Valley High School, I go thier for 2 "Blocks" Which our English and Applied Biology and Chemistry. I then Have lunch and then Go to a different school for the sencond half of the day called Central Pennsylvania Institute of Arts and Technologies. I go thier for a course called Culinary Arts. Because Ive been studying to be a chef for a long time now.
