He got side-tracked with that movie, cuz he was also filming the documerical for the sci-fi channel about how WEIRD he is,and how spooky his movie would be.....

Yes, the ending just ruined it. It was a complete waste of some fine acting and some really good individual scenes. The direction he decided to take it in was just terrible.

Elvis_Christ 08-22-2005 11:06 PM

The ending of Unbreakable made it for me. I dug it.

I agree, Moonlit. I think that movie was a big tease. You walk into the theatre expecting to get a scary or at least suspenseful film and it doesn't happen. Major let down.

Me too. But maybe I should so I'll have something to moan about like the grumpy old cunt I am.

You have a point, it would give me something to bitch about....not that I ever really need another reason to bitch. But even the previews annoyed me for this remake....I usually give 'em a chance...but this one particularly bugged me for some reason.

 THE WARRIORS REMAKE

Is the one that's gonna send me apeshit.

jenna26 08-23-2005 09:48 PM

I have never seen the original but I added it to the Netflix list....which is getting ridiculously long by the way thanks to this place...lol.:p

MisterSadistro 08-23-2005 10:18 PM

'In Cold Blood' based on Truman Capote's novel of the true hunt, capture, and execution of two men who murdered a family in 1950s Kansas is about as perfectly done as a movie could possibly be. Shot superbly, great jump cuts to to keep story moving and the jazz score by Quincy Jones is the one album I've always wished had been made. See it. You won't regret it.
