I would say, that all the veterans leaving is a little bigger problem than a god damn thong pic.

None of them were banned, forced to leave, or are unable to be here due to some life-threatening illness. They chose to leave of their own free will. I'm sure they'll still be in touch with whomever they usually spoke to via IMs and e-mail. I don't see any purpose to making a big deal about leaving when you've basically told everybody that you'll somehow be unable to enjoy their company. It's still the same people here. Considering huge flame wars, name calling and cussing are supposed to be against the rules in the first place, what has really changed at all ? Just because everyone had to be reminded once again when things got out of hand shouldn't lead to this lemming mentality of everyone running for the exits (especially if they want to make a scene about it). People come, people go. It's a web site. It happens.

I honestly think that people are over-reacting to these new "rules"...I mean, it's not anything nazi really, they're just preventative measures for keeping this place from exploding into yet another shit-storm...something that MOST members (including some of those those leaving/left) actually complain about.
The rules are here to keep things cool...and not much more.
It's not as though you wont be able to mix it up - it just stops when a debated point turns into a derogatory shit-slinging.
Maybe there SHOULD be a thread in which people can bring up issues/arguments with one another?

If things aren't going to be "the same" without invasions from people like Bane tolerated, and 5-page-long arguments spinning out of control, people ripping noobs a new one instead of just some friendly ball busting...then I for one don't mind.

I couldn't tell you. I've used "banned" as a title a few times and so have others. I don't know if you can ban yourself as a moderator (kinda like Terminator LOL).

Urge asked Zwoti to ban him, so yes he is really banned. I talked to him before he did it and asked him not to, but he wouldn't listen. :(

I don't know why he wanted to get banned. I asked if he was ever gonna come back to HDC and he said no, not ever, so he might have been wanted to get rid of for good. He also took out all the pics he had in his gallery. Guess he was pretty serious. :(

For the record....i never said i was leaving.....just taking a step back and letting the smoke clear. Sure, i was pretty pissed when urgeok told me he was leaving, [ one of the best posters on this site IMO ] but i've cooled down and will continue to make ridiculous, nonsensical post from time to time........its what i do.:D
