I think with the right director and writer a new Friday the 13th movie could be done right. They'd have to move him somewhere else or something... But they could do it and it would be a hell of a lot better than Jason x :D

Jason X was the best Friday the 13th instalment since The Final Chapter.

Now I strongly disagree with that. Jason X was downright awful.

Plus, how can you beat Jason Takes Manhattan, in which he boxes a teenager and literally punches his head off.

I thought I was gonna die laughing.

But I couldn't even laugh at X. I could barely even groan, I was too stunned.

I still say X was way misunderstood. It was to the F13 series what Bride and Seed of Chuckey are to the Child's Play series. The way the girls dress (I mean, come on), Jason groping the one chick while he was killing her, the whole Virtual Crystal Lake scene, and the whole tone of the movie wasn't serious.

I mean OK: so it wasn't serious. What was it supposed to be? Funny? Didn't work. "Cool"? Didn't work. It was just a downright waste of film.

A horrible waste of film. Why is it that Hollywood finds it necessary to fuck up perfectly good series by making them a parody of theirselves? That's bullshit. When the Friday movies were strong people accepted them for what they were. They were goddamned slasher pics. They don't need to be updated or to cater to the modern trends or humor. Friday part VI, now THAT was a good fucking slasher pic. Fuck Jason X, it finished the shitty job of killing the series that Jason Goes to Hell began.

Thankfully, Freddy Vs. Jason was actually pretty damn good. I didn't like the giant that they had playing Jason, but at least it was true to the character of Jason, rather than the "super Jason" shite from Jason X. It was as bad as watching Shredder become mutated by that radioactive snot from the second Ninja Turtles movie. Gimmie a fucking break.

HEY! That Super Shredder was badASS! I had the toy of him when I was little, it scared the crap outta me.

Yes, when I was eleven, I also thought it was bad-ass. But Jason? Hell no. Jason was already bad-ass.
