It's a great place for 16 year old girls to keep trying to get you to add their friends to your friends list. After that, they keep bombing you with requests to make comments on their pictures. Other than that it's pretty cool for networking.

LMAO. Yeah...you just summed up my main reason for not joining. I can't be bothered with that nonsense. Although I doubt 16 yr old girls would be bothering ME, but...yeah, I just don't wanna be bothered in general ;)

It would be so much easier if you started off with everyone on there as your friend then delete them one by one as they annoy you. It's pretty cool if you actually know the people in some capacity. I still have a tendency when I've been drinking to add girls with cute pics. Of course they're not so cute when they've requested comments 5 times in a row within the last hour. How needy and attention starved can you be ? :D

even some of my own friends get annoying promoting their bands on myspace.. I wish I could block bulletins from certain members, cause the subject line is always bullshit, its just some fucking jpeg flyer, and the same one is under 9 different bulletins.

The worst is an 18 year old filmmaker girl who's constantly plugging her film site, her convention "appearances", her pics for sale, her casting calls, her modeling career, etc. Didn't mommy and daddy show you enough attention when you were growing up ? Hell, she still is. Annoying as hell especially since she's supposedly been making this latest film for last 2 years or so as a sequel to first. Unoriginal, boring and annoying (and not good looking either LOL)

People are there for LOTS of different reasons...


I always thought the whole idea was super lame...BUT...

Sergio convinced me that I should sign up to communicate with everyone at the clubs a lot more easily...NOW, instead of having to call 20-30 people every time we go, we can just post ONE bulletin to find out who's going where, and who's riding with whom...AND, some of the clubs have internet, so sometimes if someone needs a ride home, they just hit MySpace, post a bulletin, and there ya go...It's SO much faster that way..

ALL of the people I know from my clubs are on there...



Originally, the ONLY people on my MySpace were people from the clubs...But, now I have a lot of local bands on there, which is cool too, because most of my friends are in those bands and I can find out where they are playing and when...Without actually having to call them all...

It's really a matter of convenience for me...

I have NEVER requested anyone to be on my 'friends list' (which STILL seems kinda lame)...They all just kinda found me...Through Sergio, probably...

OH and NOW...I have a few people from HERE on there, too...
