I had never given it much though before i searched on it, but to Americans, a "Gordita" is a tasty snack from Taco Bell. And while it is a dish in Mexico, it litterally means "fat chick". Just Imagine the pics that came up in google...

all i can remember is the guy doing a 'bit' about how badly vampires are trivialized in todays culture - and showed count chocula and count blood count (from sesame street) as examples ..

it's good for getting kids accustomed to horror, I would expect that would be pretty high on the list in your house, to get your kid interested....what with that extensive list of horror dvds you have.

i think kids (like adults) have a strong natural curiosity for things that scare them ..

i intend on keeping my kid away from it until he's 12 or 13.
he has his whole life to lose his innocence ....and be faced with death and horror every day ..

i want to make good and sure he understands the concepts of reality and grand scale right and wrong first too ...

Others may disagree, but i thought the movie was shit. It isnt even based on Dagon. its based on "Shadow ove Innsmouth" and make sone o f the lamest "hidden" references in history. For some weird ass reason, he diceded to set it in spain, and then named the town "imbocca", spanish for "in mouth" :rolleyes:

I have a real hard time letting go. This is why i so desperately hated Dungeons and Dragons. I cant stand that i wait for years for someone to make a decent film adaption of something i love, and they produce the worst runny, post mexican food shit imagineable.

Dagon was like alien Ressurection, i would habve liked it more if it hadnt come from something better.

i dont want an acceptable lovecraft movie, i want a great one.
