Most of the things that piss me off about music have been said....Narrowmindedness is the big one though. I hate it so much when people listen to civers, but ever even heared the original song...Oh, people that say they like bands but only know like 1 of their songs...

Oh, heres another one. This guy I know has been trying to start a band. He came to school last week and told me the new name of his band : [Get ready to laugh] Nine Inch Nails. Soon as he said it Im like " [Name], you retard", and he just gave me this blank expression. Now this guy's a terrible lier, but he says "What? You dont like it" or somethin like that. So I tell him that it's already a major band thats been around for years, and he just says, in ghis terrible lying way, "Bullshit!". So that lunch hour, we go to a music store in the mall, and I prove it. So, still being a terrible lier, he says "Well, how would I know that? Ive never heared of them! I made it up myself!" Thats when I left.

I dislike people who love a band so much that whatever that band puts out, they'll think it's just the greatest music they've ever heard.

You know what pisses me off, music-wise? When people like Chainsaw come bitching about how people who aren't as "die-hard" as him suck. If you like your music, good for you, that's all you should worry about, that's all that matters. So what if someone only knows a few songs? He was trying to communicate with you by using a theme he knew you liked, so what if he wasn't "hardcore" enough? If you were a real fan of a music group, such as Slipknot, you'd agree that the song he mentioned is good, and then encourage him to check some of their other shit out. If you're worrying about the image-side of music, you should re-think some things.

I keep my negative comments to myself if someone doesn't deserve it...but when someone is so stupid they're actually close to injuring themselves I have to butt in. I mean, they're ripping the shit out of her and she doesn't even realize it, and she's making some of the most incomplete, dumb sentences I've ever seen.

Actually, they've gotten better. There was a short period when she was pretending that her mother was typing on the computer, talking bad about her. It was pretty interesting, like watching a really bad play. There'd be a post from her, then a post from her "mother", and they'd go back and forth arguing with each other.

Obviously it was the same person, but it was really funny.

I say "To each his own"...We all have different tastes...It's okay to like whatever you like...We like music for different reasons...Some music makes us feel good, some music relaxes us, some music helps us through tough times, some music makes us want to dance, some music reminds us of a happy time or a special person, and some music just fucking rocks for WHATEVER reason...

I can go from Cyndi Lauper and Prince to Opeth and Marilyn Manson...And catch something that I like from almost everything in between...*Tone Loc's Funky Cold Medina makes me get up on my feet, too ;)*

There isn't anything wrong with appreciating a large variety of different types of music, just as there is nothing wrong with being strictly devoted to ONE form of music...

Metal has always been my overwhelming favorite...but, I don't mind branching out from time to time...

Music is a GOOD thing...It isn't something that should cause people to bitch and argue...

I really liked the first Korn album when it came out. It was really original and fresh. Its a pity all the dumb copycat bands killed that sound.
