It's a real shame you live in a part of the world with neither crawfish or beer....

yeah there's a crystal on Burbon, there's not that many of them though at least to my knowledge.

the main burger chain is McDonalds(big surprise there)

the drive through only place you're talking about must be Rally's.

what about a best western or microtel they are pretty good and aren't too pricey but then again I don't know your budget.

Vodstok 03-11-2005 05:08 AM

Yes, Rally's, that was it :D

We have had some not-so-great experiences with 3 star hotels, so we have moved into the 4 star snobbery territroy :)

its no problem. If i get a new job soon, i will be making significantly more money, so it ownt be a problem.

I've had great experiences keeping the extra 150 bucks in my pocket. I try to stay in the 4 stars as often as possible myself makes the trip an overall better experience.

microwave meals are dire.

filmmaker2 03-12-2005 02:06 PM

You totally sound like that frozen meal was the blandest, most awful thing you ever ate.

barbra 03-12-2005 02:49 PM

I don't have a kitchen right now and all thats stocked in the fridge is microwavable diet meals. they taste like presevative. It did have noodles though. my fridge looks funny in my living room, but its handy. oh yeah and it said it was a flavor adventure on the box.
