I have to take a deeper look at this when i get home tonight. Jyhad cards are selling for 10 -18 bucks a piece....
I knew those godamn things would be worth somehting someday :D I havent bothered looking at ebay for a while now... i guess i should :) |
I have a couple of Judge Dredd comics left from years ago, copies of the 1st and 2nd editions from the second series...the rest I sold or gave away. I've been meaning to get them both valued, I know there'd be some hardcore collector, who would love to get their hands on em for a decent price.
don't collect anything else, apart from my DVD and VHS collection. |

I got into that game at about the 4th series, when it's popularity exploded. i would have loved to have gotten in on the ground floor....
It would have been like buying microsoft stock 20 years ago. I was glad to see that the Jyhad stuf fis worth so much, especially since it failed so badly. |
i have a big box of those magic cards .. came from the same place i buy all of my cool used shit at ...
have no idea what a 'rare' would be .. i don tthink i mentioned this before - because its relevant and we know how i hate to be relevant ... but i was at a flea market years ago .. looking through someones junk - magazines ... and i found Fangoria 1,2,3 and 5.... And ...yes ... Godzilla was on the cover of the 1st ever Fangoria. |

I think if you go on there site you can see what they are worth....I have a few that could fetch about $20 each. |
I looked it up for ya...they don't have # 1, or 5 listed.....must be really rare....but # 2 and #3 are going for $50 each.
heres a link http://www.fangoria.com/store/landing.php?id=1 |

I used to collect records but I sold them all to buy a new bass guitar. I've got a resonably big VHS collection. I've started collecting Comics, Fangoria and other horror related magazines. But yeh I'm having one of those mid 20s crisies so I'm starting to hold onto more of my possessions instead of selling them for beer and drugs :p

i also collect philipino love slaves .. got me a whole whack of them ... but there's always room for one more :D |
I had 4 huge binders of baseball cards in protective sleeves, somthing like 600-700 per binder, they were huge and weighed a ton. They were upper deck, fleer, and a couple of others and like brand new. They were from "90" and "91". I picked them up at an auction, thinking I might make some money, (I don't know a damn thing about trading cards). I put them on E-bay and the highest bid I got was $4.50 per binder, (I paid $10.00)! Hell the binders were worth more then that. I finally gave them to a friend as a Christmas gift. So it's no more trading cards for me.

I collect books(mostly history) and guns(mostly rifles.) I have to keep most of my guns with a friend because of the restrictive laws in Washington D.C. which as you may guess, don't really do shit. Of the two, I value my books more. I buy them compulsively and have far more than I can read. In addition to history, I have been reading science fiction recently. I'm not really into horror/fantasy writing but I do like H.P. Lovecraft's stuff.

And speaking of knowing all the proper names, my other cousin used to be able to name every brand of vacuum cleaner imagineable just from looking at them in a book...and this was before he could read. I always thought it was pretty weird how he was so fascinated with vacuum cleaners. :p |
